“Borderline”

While convenient and accepting pets, this hotel was borderline in terms of room cleanliness. There was dirt/hair all over the bathroom floor. On the upside, it is very close to the highway and also to many restaurants and stores.

Impressed with the comfort, cleanliness, and convenience of this hotel, and good value too. Quiet, even though located conveniently close to highway. Good location to restaurants and shopping. Efficient and personable hotel staff!

“Clean, comfortable, convenient”

On my short stay for a quick business trip, everything was clean, comfortable, and convenient. No problems, no hassles. Pillows and bed were more comfortable than average. Breakfast was OK. All in all, nothing remarkable, but it was exactly what I needed.

“Great for quick overnight stay while traveling”

Fairly close to Ohio turnpike, but far enough away to not be noisy. Hotel appears to be fairly new or redecorated. Was clean everywhere, except for a little bit of debris on hallway floor. Rooms are comfortable, although it would be nice to have queen beds instead of doubles. Breakfast was fine, with boiled eggs and make your own waffles, in addition to usual cereals, yogort and fruit.

“Good hotel for the price”

Only complaint is that our rooms were not ready when we checked in at 8pm. Their excuse was there were many late check-outs. But they should have compensated us for our waiting. Continental breakfast was very good.

“Very clean & lovely hotel”

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. At check-in the clerk was on the phone, but did not acknowledge me at the desk. Other staff was quite friendly.

“Weren't there long”

We only spent a few hours in the hotel but the clerk on duty when we arrived was funny and nice. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was sufficient to get us on our way.

“Clean and Nice! One thing to mention though.....”

The hotel stay was great. The room was clean and the staff was courteous. The continental breakfast was standard and it was being constantly replenished so nothing had run out which was really nice! The only complaint I have about it is that there is a Harley-Davdison shop on the other side of the parking lot and it got a bit noisy at times. However the noise subsided around 9pm (which is when I assume the shop closed) and wasn't too much of a nuisance. Other than that, no complaints!!

“a fine place for travel accomodation”

We just needed a comfortable, convenient and affordable place to spend the night while traveling, and this was fine. It appeared to be quite new, and was very clean, had very comfortable beds, with a good breakfast and front desk friendly service. We liked booking through expedia for both the going and return trips. It was good to have a place to go to for the night, with good directions to follow. Note: this place is about 8 minutes from I 90. Negatives of this La Quinta are minor: Why would a new hotel be built with such poor windows? We could feel the air coming through and hear the traffic noise from the nearby highway. Although this didn't keep us from sleeping well, it indicated low budget construction. The room we stayed in one of the two nights had a bathroom fan with a deafening roar, again, indicating cheap construction.
