“A Quiet Oasis”

My family of four spent a very pleasant night in this hotel in January. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. The shower had ample hot water and water pressure. The hotel is best reached by taxi from the train station as it is not located near Plaza de Zocodover, where most of the buses seem to go. However, the old town of Toledo is not large and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The hotel has a very nice breakfast buffet with traditional Spanish offerings (meats and cheeses) as well as scrambled eggs, sausages and a variety of breads and pastries. The bacon was very limp, but I found it that way all over Spain.

Very quiet comfortable and good location in the old part of Toledo. Would love to go back there. Staff was helpful and the room was comfortable and clean.

I had a great time in Toledo and really recommend this hotel. Great location. The hotel is beautiful,very clean and so charming. I had a reservation issue and the manager was very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

“Great way to spend our first night in Spain”

We flew from Toronto to Madrid the night before and Toledo was a great place to recouperate. The hotel was very attractive and perfectly located. Parking was a bit of a hassle ... but then again when is it otherwise in the old quarters of Spanish cities.

“Lovely quiet location in Toledo”

A lovely hotel - with a good buffet breakfast. Right on the edge of the inner city of Toledo, so a little bit of a walk from the main squares and tourist area. However this makes it really quiet. Hotel is near Santo Tome (famous El Greco painting) and the El Greco House museum - although latter is currently shut.

“Old made new”

This old building in the historic section was beautifully updated. Hotel rooms are modern and attractive and common areas are lovely. In addition the staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Great location, very clean nice room excellent bathroom. Parking right next door. Walk anywhere in town. Only problem was air conditioner blew on bed

“Excellent choice”

The hotel is a modernized take on an old style of home in the Jewish quarter, which is directly adjacent to the El Greco museum, several key churches and other sites. The staff was pleasant, and the rooms spacious and spotless. Also quite quiet in the evenings (although we had our windows closed) and comfortably climate controlled. Not directly in the center of the (small) city, but that was a plus to us, since we enjoyed walking and discovering Toledo.

“Character and comfort... Just superb!!”

Although we only spent one niht, I wish every hotel we stayed in had had this much character! It was even more than we had hoped for. The lobby was quaint and comfortable, the hotel was a bit maze-like, but so so charming. The staff was courteous and helpful. They spoke English, too.The breakfast was outstanding with many choices to satisy every kind of taste! I would stay here again and encourage anyone else to stay here, too.
