“Nice Stay”

We arrived a little earlier than planned but we still allowed to check-in. Because we were traveling with a 9 month old, they offered to change our room to an inside entrance on the first floor which was greatly appreciated. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and check-in was a breeze.

“Great budget hotel”

This hotel was a great value. It's location isn't near the heart of Lawrence, but it's not off the beaten-path, either. The staff was very helpful, kind, and was able to recommend places to eat, drink, and experience the town. The hotel was slightly outdated, but it was still clean and orderly.

“Great option instead of downtown!”

Pleasant surprise - we were wanting to stay downtown but they were all booked up. This was a great option, and less expensive. Nice breakfast, comfortable and clean room and there are restaurants close by.

Our stay at Best Western, Lawrence, was excellent. We'll stay there again. Clean, friendly, comfortable, and convenient.

“Great value in Lawrence”

The wing we stayed in was older, but well maintained and clean! There was a worn spot on the carpet, but since we were traveling with a dog, I assume we wouldn't get the best. Also, their rate for a dog was just $5.00. Other places we have stayed were up to $20. They advertise a continental breakfast, but it offered many more choices than the traditional coffee and a roll. This hotel is half way between our home and grand children back East and we plan on staying here both ways in the future. It wasn't the cheapest choice, but very reasonable for a good clean room.

“Great hotel for the handicapped and families.”

My experience was wonderful. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. I am handicapped and the workers in there were very helpful. I could see the families were having a good time with the swimming pool and etc. I did leave a suggestion they need to do in the handicapped bathroom I had.

“Most for your money!”

To get the discounted rate, we are assigned to the "exterior" rooms -- in a separate building from the main motel -- but the rooms are fine. The staff is a step above most motels -- friendly, accommodating, and remember those of us who are frequent guests. Location is good -- a fun sports bar is a short walk away. Breakfast bar is especially good too -- and the ladies who work the breakfast bar are always especially friendly. VERY good deal!
