“Great Hotel”

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay there again. Their was a conference taking place during one of the nights we were there at the adjoining conference center, and some of the people associated with that were noisy until around 2 or 3 am. Our room was also right across from the elevators, so we could hear that every now and then. Neither of these noises were too much to complain about though. The staff was very friendly and acccomodating, the hotel itself is nice and clean. Although the hottub was not working while we were there, the pool was still nice, as was the weight room. In all, although our stay contained a few hiccups, the hotel was great and we would stay there again. I would expect that in the future these minor things would be cleared up (we slept great all nights other than the one, and I'm sure the hottub will be fixed).

“Wonderful Getaway”

My wife and I stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon. It was a nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had lost track of time and were in the pool after it was supposed to close, but the security guard was very nice about asking us to leave. Breakfast in the hotel the next morning was also very good. A decent size spread of food that was fresh. A nice start to the morning. No complaints from us.

“Pleasantly surprised”

We found the hotel to be very clean and updated with new pillow-top matresses. One spot of wallpaper was peeling in our room, but that didn't bother me at all. The design of the hotel was a tower with the rooms and hallways encircling the lobby. so you could look over the railing outside of any room and see the lobby/lounge. Very nice until a late-night poker game carried noice sirectly up the column so it sounded like it was right outside our door. A call to the front desk remedied the problem. Pool was great, hot tub was not hot enough, and sauna was not working. I have become a real germ-phobe with hotels as I've gotten older, and this one was very clean. The small issues would not be enough to keep me from recommending it or returning if I were in the area.

“Beautiful hotel”

This hotel has a very elegant lobby, complete with bar, restaurant, and waterfall/fountain. The buffet breakfast was delicious and still hot after a late morning. The room itself was as to be expected. There were a few spots in the wallpaper that were peeling back, but it didn't hamper our stay in any way.

“Best quality hotel in Topeka”

This is a relatively new hotel and is easily the highest quality in terms of level of service. The public areas are beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. There is a restaurant, bar, gift shop, exercise facility and pool all inside the hotel. And, for this trip, the cost was very comparable to many of the other decent hotels in town. The only drawback is that there are limited dining and shopping options nearby; however, Topeka is not too large a town and you can easily get to the main shopping and dining area on Wanamaker in just a few minutes.

“Great hotel for Topeka, KS”

Everything at this hotel is first rate. The only drawback is the surrounding neighborhood, which is very old and has become very rundown since my last visit to Topeka some 8 or 9 years ago.
