Holiday Inn Express Topeka West I-70 Wanamaker

We have a very nice stay. The beds were very comfortable as was the arm chair. My wife needs a good arm chair as she cannot sleep in the bed all night. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. The room was quiet and had a nice large flat screen.

Big thank you to the excellent front desk staff for sending my daughter's stuffed animal to us in MN after it was left at the hotel. Hotel is a good value and close to tons of stuff, liquor store, shopping mall, restaurants, etc. A couple things were a little uneven but if you go and speak with the front desk they can help with anything.

I was very dissatisfied with the friendliness and attitudes of the staff when I checked in. It was apparantly shift change and they acted like I was an inconvience,didn't tell me the hours for breakfast, and didn't point me in the right direction for my room. I was also not thrilled that the hotel was undergoing an overhaul and it was not mentioned when I booked the room. Overall the rooms that were redone were very nice, and the location was perfect.

We stayed two nights and were greatly impressed with the renovated room and outstanding service! Would stay here again many times over. Top notch. The only area that was still under renovation was the pool area? We spent many hours there with our children and still had a blast. Most of the pool is 3 1/2 feet which is perfect for little swimmers.

This hotel is going through a remodel/refurbishing. The furniture was new and the beds great. Once completed it will be 5 star.

We stayed overnight on the way to somewhere else, so we were just looking for a room to sleep in. The room, the hotel, the staff,the amenities were all very nice. However, the bed was incredibly hard. I do not understand why hotels spend the time and the money to make everything else so nice and yet leave us with such an uncomfortable bed. Also, I am nitpicking, but the very nice breakfast room was playing a TV network that is politically offensive to half of the country. I find it annoying and unneccesary.

The guy at the front desk was really friendly. Our bathroom was very clean and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Also the room was set at a great temperature and great big flat screen t.v. The beds were very comfortable and smelled clean!

The hotel is currently being renovated. The impact to guests is small. The room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking and the staff was nice. I would stay again.

Wonderful and an excellent breakfast! The pillows were wonderful and we had a great night sleep. Some maintenance going on in the lobby made the check-in area a little unwelcoming but everything else was great.
