“Good place for business and families”
I have always enjoyed my stays here. I travel alot to Topeka.
The rooms are clean and comfy. There is a indoor pool that has a large water slide. I really enjoyed and appreciated a complimenatry breakfast that was "real" -eggs, bacon or sausage, oj, coffee, etc. that was resturant-style service and very friendly staff. Since this hotel is off the beaten path from most in Topeka, they are working hard to keep the facility clean, in shape and enjoyable.
Area recommendations
Wanemaker is the main street to get to shopping, chain resturants and most lodging.
If you want some family fun I like Fairlawn Ave. It has Gage Park / Topeka Zoo. This is very convient during the months you can take the family to the park to play, go on a train ride or old fashion carosel, swim, or enjoy the zoo, then have a picnic or go eat. There is a local cafe, pizza place, and local Italian resturant close by. There is also a Dillion's and Wallgreens.
