“Second time here”

We stayed here in Lawrence last year as well, and the same desk clerk checked us in both times. He and all the staff were very friendly. The hotel backs up to a park w/ basketball courts, a disc golf course, and more. The continental breakfast was nice, and the room had a fridge and comfortable beds. Its a great price, and I'll stay here next time we're in Lawrence, too!

“satisfied”

The building was a really old design ,but was kept in very good condition. We were very comfortable and happy with our stay. In the breakfast room there is a lot more food than meets the eye , make sure you look in all the containers before you make your choices.

“Best Value in Lawrence”

Clean, updated, pet friendly! Our ground floor room opened to a patio and beautiful surrounding hilly park with frisbee golf, skate park, etc., which made it easy for our little friend to go out and do her business. Newer carpeting, tiled bath. No mini fridge but we had a cooler. Breakfast - ok, usual fare. We have stayed at Best Western, Baymont, Holiday Inn Express and this is our favorite cuz of the sliding glass doors to the patio for our pooch!

“GREAT PLACE TO STAY”

THIS MOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT. DESK CLERK CHANGED OUR ROOM TO THE LOWER LEVEL FOR A MORE QUITE STAY AS THERE WAS A BUS LOAD OF TEENS STAYING ON THE UPPER LEVELS. THIS WAS A VERY NICE THING TO DO. THE LOWER LEVEL ROOM EVEN HAD A PATIO!!!!! ENJOYED OUR STAY

“Great dog friendly room!”

We had a room on the first floor with an outdoor patio that led into a park. It was great for our 2 dogs. Only problem, they ran out of "hot" foods by 7:30 am & we were told there would be no more.

“Awesome beds!”

For the price, exactly what I would have expected, except that the beds were amazing. Small problem with check-in, but they sorted it out by the time my stay was over.

“Good quality hotel”

We thought this was a very good quality hotel at a reasonable price. It had the ammenities that we were looking for. This is the second stay at this hotel and we plan on staying there again in the future. A big plus is the extemely convenient location to the KU campus.
