“Don't bother with this one”
From the questionable, sketchy people in the parking lot, to the damp, dank smelling room (it seemed as though the carpet in our room had just been cleaned earlier and had not had sufficient time to dry out) and the pool looked really undesirable; I would tell you to forget this one altogether. Plus the breakfast left a lot to be desired as well.
“Not Worth The Money!!”
Took the third room given to me to find one that had an air conditioner that worked. No air conditioning in the hallways and public areas - only in the rooms. For just an average room, feel it was extremely overpriced. Would have been much happier at the national chain discount hotel right next door for alot less money. This area has other motels right in the vicinity that we would try before going back to this one. Only plus was that it was VERY easy getting on and off the interstate.
“Great motel, but disappointed that pool heater was broken.”
Our main reason for choosing this motel was their indoor pool, so we were disappointed. Everything else about our stay was fine, though.
“GREAT VALUE!”
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was pretty good (waffles, cereal, bagels, eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, etc)! The pool was pretty cold. They said they had the heat turned all the way up--it was VERY cold outside (December). But, I found it invigorating to go between the hot tub and cool water in the pool. The bathroom light is accompanied by an annoyingly loud fan noise. But, the beds were pretty comfy. The room was well-heated and clean. The TV service worked very well. Best of all, though, was the friendly staff!
“Decent no frills place to stay”
If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this hotel is fine. Hotel is older and breakfast is pretty weak (bagels and cereal). However, it is conveniently located within walking distance of several big-name restaurants, i.e. Old Chicago Steakhouse, On the Border, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc.
