“low price and great room”

i wasnt expecting much with this place,because of the price,but my boyfriend and i got a smoking room, which did NOT reek of smoke....nice refrigerator,microwave,and porch area . comfortable bed. for the price, you cannot get a better deal. we will definitely stay here again.

“Comfortable and clean”

The room was clean. There was no pool. The lobby smelled like curry. The beds were hard but clean and the light bulbs in the bathroom were very low wattage, hard to see even with the lights on. If you don't mind a firm bed, it would be fine.

“Another wonderful stay!”

Every year we come up to Lawrence KS for the 70.3 Iron Man Competition. Last year we stayed at The Virginia Inn and enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed there again this year and will continue to do so each year. The rooms are very clean, the beds are more comfortable than what I sleep on at home! The rooms are huge compared to some of the more expensive hotels we've stayed at in the past and the staff are actually happy to see you! When in Lawrence...this is the place to be! Thanks to you guys at Virginia Inn!

“Won't Find Better for the Price!!!”

The owner was very sweet when I arrived and gave me everything I needed. The heat was already turned on in my room so it was nice and warm on my arrival. The room was very big with very nice furnishings and a very helpful front desk. Wonderful hotel for the price! I've stayed in more expensive that was far worse.

“Great stay for the price”

I've paid twice as much for similar motels. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The desk clerk was very helpful and gave me internet access. He also told me the hours of the continental breakfast without me having to ask. I could hear the people in the next room through the connecting door but it wasn't too bad and they didn't stay up late! Next time I might ask for a room upstairs. I would definitely recommend if you're there for a concert like we were.

“Very impressed!”

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were very unsure of what it would be like on the inside. Looks can be very deceiving. We were very impressed with the hotel and the comfort. The manager was very nice and we will be staying at this location again. It is also very easy access on and off of where we need to go.

Very pleased with this motel. Room was very spacious and had mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and desk. The room was also very quiet. Excellent service at the front desk. Breakfast of pastries, cereal, coffee and juice was available. Wireless internet was available. Unfortunately, the connection was poor at times. Location of motel was easily accessible to all point of interest. The rate for the room was very reasonable---a great deal.

“Fantastic hotel!”

I could not believe how nice this place was! It was extremely clean! Even the sheets seemed to have been pressed! The manager and staff were very nice and polite and you could tell that they were happy to see you. The hotel was located almost perfect for our needs. Close to KU so our Granddaughter could show us where she will be attending college this Fall...close to some of the finest dining as well as to many fast food places and across the street from a very large grocery store if you just wanted to eat in the room. Our purpose for going to Lawrence was the IronMan competition and it only took us a few minutes to get to the lake where the competition was being held. With our Granddaughter attending KU, I have no question where we will be staying the next time we go to Lawrence Kansas!

“Friendly, gracious, helpful”

Owners and staff were friendly and gracious--als extremely helpful. I left a shirt in the closet when we left the hotel. When I called they immediately packaged it and put it in the mail.

Owner was very service oriented. He took care of all our needs. Great motel at a fair price.
