“Customer Service”
Front desk reception was abrupt, too busy chatting to extend excellent customer service ie one lady in particular. The Valets were extremely customer friendly and extremely helpful in particular Thomas, he made our stay easier, seeing we were there to help one of my daughters move into residence.

Walk to downtown Toronto, close to shops and restaurants, airport...although I missed the airport exit twice....I would return.
“Excellent hotel close to main Toronto attractions”
This hotel is conveniently located about 6 blocks away (~10-15 minute walk) from the Ellington subway station, so you can reach the main downtown attractions of Toronto fairly quickly and easily. There are also many pubs, restaurants, grocery stores & coffee shops surrounding the hotel, so it's very convenient to find a place to eat. The hotel does NOT offer complimentary breakfast, but it does offer 2 types of breakfast buffets...a bit overpriced and quality is not that great; you're better off going elsewhere for breakfast. The hotel also does not have free parking, but it's not terribly inconvenient and not too expensive in the grand scheme of things. Other than that, the hotel was wonderful in terms of cleanliness, friendliness and service. The rooftop pool was a bit cold (in early July), but very clean. We especially liked that there was a small refrigerator in our room...perfect for keeping water bottle s cold in summer! Overall, highly recommended.
“Good value hotel for North Toronto”
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times. All rooms we have stayed in have small fridges. Beds are comfortable if you like pillow tops (somewhat soft) and lots of pillows and the valet parking is prompt (cost extra$). Nice location in northern Toronto with good access to major streets. Nice size clean rooms. Good service. We have never eaten at the restaurant, however.

This hotel was in a great location for our visit to family. The staff was friendly and helpful and the services were fine. It is a good value in an expensive city

“Excellent location; friendly staff”
I have stayed here several times for the combination of "mid-town" location and friendliness of the staff. The price is at the upper edge of its range, perhaps. While some people are surprised that the only parking is via valet, I have found the valet staff quite responsive. Front desk staff, too.
