Good hotel near the airport
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Great beds! The staff accommodated our meeting needs and bent over backwards to serve us.
Cons: parts of the hotel needed a little facelift
Location: easy on and off 401; not too far from downtown
My daughter and I were here for a meeting, and all went well. Inexpensive, good location for travelers.

Best Western of Toronto

Pros: The pool and the hot tub
Cons: Slow drain in sink No Continental Breakfast
Location: The Location was good not too far from places I wanted to go to.
The first night the Air Condition didn't work in 501 so the move us to 503. The remote for the TV didn't work but they did give us another one. There was a very slow drain in our room which never got fixed wile we were there and the was no continental Breakfast.

good for passing through
Posted Jan 2, 2013
This was a good stay for just passing through. The lobby wasn't exciting and the elevator was dingy, however the room was good, and that's all that matters for a few hours visit. My only gripe was the shuttle - it only comes every 40 minutes which could be shortened to max 30 On the return it was an unmarked van and the female driver (who didn't look like a shuttle driber) didn't get out to get the door or unload luggage. Very strange indeed

Just Okay

Pros: Near the airport
Cons: Noisy - could hear the planes; Fire alarm went off and hallways smelt like gasoline for a while after.
Chose a king bed room but got a 2 double bed room. However was allowed to check in 2 hours earlier. Washroom bathtub was not very clean.

Experience
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable. Apparently mattresses had been replaced recently--they were very, very comfortable
Cons: Need to have some firmer pillows. Most were soft to very soft so no real neck support.
Location: Great! Very close to airport; easy access.
The one complaint we had on May 23th was that we found blood on one of the pillows on the bed. When we mentioned it the next morning both to the cleaning and desk staff, they immediately took action and were very apologetic. The only other concern was that there was only one waiter on duty in the restaurant during the busy early morning rush on May 24th. This made service very slow, the fellow was rushed and he forgot a lot of things.

Great overnight before flying out of Toronto
Posted Jan 26, 2013
Location: It is in a light industrial area just west of the Toronto airport. There is a gas station and Subway restaurant right next door.
Good, clean room with all the basics. The only problem was missing half of the curtain so it was impossible to make everything dark--and we were glad we weren't on the ground floor. We also didn't find the binder with TV guide and other instructions. Being next door to the Zoom car rental was a plus and the early shuttle to the airport at 5:20 was appreciated.

Right for the price

Location: Handy location a few minutes from the airport and just off the 401. Good for jet-lagged passengers who don't want to drive too far in busy traffic.
Basic few-frills hotel. The plug in the bath wouldn't hold the water in the tub.

Won't go there again.

Pros: The restaurant was pretty good.
Cons: Assigned to the wrong room. Vending machine in bad shape.
Location: Somewhat industrial.
I was assigned to a room that was already occupied. Staff appeared very concerned and puzzled about this but no particular care to take notice of us. The drink machine wasn't operating, and apparently hadn't been for awhile. The location was not very pleasant.
