“Very nice, reasonably priced, close to Toronto”

Clean hotel, decent breakfast, free wireless internet worked without a problem.

Area recommendations

Toronto is a nice city with a lot of dining and shopping choices along with several tourist attractions. Niagara Falls is definitely worth a visit if you haven't been there before. White Water Walk and Maid of the Mist are both worthwhile attractions.

“Lovely Hotel, Very Clean and Great staff”

Hotel was very clean and comfy with good parking. room was large and very comfy beds. Breakfast was good with plenty choice and different options daily. Best of all was the staff, they were really nice and were happy to spend time with us to help us with our trips, directions etc. Would stay here again.

Room and Bed are large and comfort. Breakfast was ok. Relatively far from everything but it is acceptable.

Have to drive for and hour to the Niagara fall , 30 min to downtown Toronto and 15 min to the airport.

“"Stay at the Country Inn"”

I chose the Country Inn because of it's location being between Toronto and Niagra Falls, also important was the reasonable price. Most importantly I relied heavily on customer reviews which were high. My wife and I had a great time at Country Inn. The rooms are clean, simple and comfortable. The staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet is fresh and has great variety. The fitness room has plenty of very nice equipment and clean. The free in-room WiFi was very helpful. A computer with a printer is available in the lounge area. We really were impressed with the coin operated washer and dryer machines that enabled us to clean our clothes before we returned home. There are plenty of stores just a short drive away. Last year I stayed in a pricey city hotel and paid extra for parking, WiFi and breakfast. This is a nice Inn. We strongly recommend Country Inn at Oakville and enjoy Canada!

Area recommendations

We knew we would not be able to visit all the places we wanted in a single day so we intented on making several trip back and forth between Toronto and Niagra Falls all week long. The hotel location put us 20 minutes outside of Toronto and 35 minutes from Niagra Falls. Going to either location was a breeze. The hotel is located very near the QEW highway and the ramps are easily reachable.

Getting around

The 407 highway is a toll road that only uses a transponder for toll collection, NO CASH. Do not use it if you can avoid it. A woman at the airport helped us out with this information and if you rent a car you will have to pay extra for the transponder.

“Very nice hotel”

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel looked clean and neat. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel had laundry, so after 8 days on the road it was nice to wash clothes. Breakfast was average. We had a little trouble getting off the QEW and getting to the hotel, but after the first mistake, we didn't have any further problems.

“Enjoyed the free breakfast.”

They offered hard boiled eggs, I could have my tea with honey. They had fresh coffee and cookies all day long. The cookies were baked right on site. I wish they would have a sign off the main highway pointing to their hotel because it took us a little while to find it.

Oakville is a nice place to stay. Convenient to shopping areas and plenty of restaurants. And there is a GO station not too far from the hote..

“Good value for money”

We stayed for four nights with our baby and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided us a room with baby crib, microwave and fridge - it was very helpful as this was our first road trip with our seven month old daughter. Good breakfast
