“Very good but...”

The only thing that I wasn't completely happy with was the size of the room. It was a king-size bed room with only one "soft back" chair pushed up against the window. It would have been nice if there had been two. Except for that, I felt the hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect. Very clean and modern. Even though one of us relaxed sitting up on the bed, we'll return to this hotel in the future.

“No better place downtown for the money!”

Easier to walk everywhere along Yonge street than I would have ever guessed. Walked all the way to the Air Canada Centre and back in the winter with NO PROBLEM. Good service too: for example, when I asked for a cab to be called they said 'no problem', then called back up 2 minutes later to say that, for our trip, a flat rate car would be cheaper (and it was, by about $10) and there was one waiting for us downstairs.

“You might find a better deal but it is good biz accomodation.”

Staff and location keep me coming back to this hotel. For business, it covers all the bases.

“Great Hotel on Yonge!!!”

Great Hotel!!! When I had booked the hotel (via Expedia), I had included a note to say that I was celebrating my 30th Birthday and asked for a room upgrade. I didn't even have to mention it at check-in ... they automatically upgraded!!! A really nice surprise!!! Also, nice, clean room and friendly staff ... thanks!!!

“Excellent hotel”

We had a very good time staying here. It was clean and the check in/out service was rapid and effortless. The valet parking service was also excellent. The hotel is located close to the subway and is well situated for exploring the city centre.

“Top notch!”

Pleasantly surprised. It was my first stay at a Courtyard Marriott and I was glad to see how clean and comfortable their rooms were. Lots of space and they were very accommodating when I wanted to change my room from a 2 person to a single person. I wish there was a refrigerator or microwave in my room, but that's just me being greedy. :)

“Excellent value”

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, had all the amenities we wanted, and the staff were efficient and courteous. One small problem (we were charged for breakfast when it should have been included free) was fixed immediately without question. It's in a fun part of Toronto. Would definitely stay there again next time we're in T.O.

“Solid hotel”

This is a good, affordable place to stay in an expensive city. The hotel is located a block north of a metro station, making it easy to get around the downtown area. It's in the college area, so there are lots of nearby bars, restaurants, and shops. It's close (2 subway stops) from downtown's biggest mall. Inside, the staff is friendly. The place was very clean. The beds were comfy. Didn't try the restaurant, it's a fancy-looking place and expensive. The hotel bar was a good place to chill at the end of the night. All in all, one of the better hotels I've stayed at in the last year.

“Superb hotel”

Lovely spacious rooms - great service - all requests attended to promptly. Good left luggage service provided after check-out and offers to ring taxis for airport. Amazing breakfast - featuring bake your own waffle which my daughter loved. Would definitely go back - superb value

“Best hotel of our holiday!”

If you want to be comfortable in Canada then I can really recommend this hotel. The beds were the best I have ever slept in, with wonderful pillows and mattresses. The decor is bright and modern, newly re-furbished. The best shampoo, conditioner and body lotion I've ever had!! The room we had been originally assigned was opposite the pepsi and ice machine, both of which were very noisy. However, a brief word at Reception and we were moved to a much quieter room while we were out sightseeing with no fuss. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, complimentary coffee in the lobby in the mornings if breakfast isn't your thing. The staff were polite, attentive and friendly at all times -I would stay there again any time.
