Toronto hotel

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Locality and cleanliness
Cons: Plumbing and restaurant staff need to listen more to customers needs
Location: Shopping, museums, open top bus tours very good. Sailing trip around the harbour
This hotel had a problem with the hot water supply, so took ages to run a hot shower, and could not run a bath as the plug did not fit! Not enough choices for dinner menu. Unable to use normalTVchannels as TV was locked for preview only, did advise front desk but nothing was done. Otherwise a very pleasant experience. This hotel is very close to the city centre.

If your'e fine with "OK" at best

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Location and staff was friendly.
Cons: As i said before, we had an old room, and it didn't seem that we got what we paid for.
Location: right on yonge, shopping , dining etc
The room was ok. It was on the 6th floor and is in desperate need of updating. The bathroom floor had hairs on it before we got there. There was a blackness along the outside of the tub. Mold? There was also flecks of blackness on the the ceiling as well. It was old and tired looking. Our room was 2 queen beds. We booked for 4 adults and we were charged extra for the one adult. We had only 3 towels , and regular coffee in the morning for 1 person. If you are going to charge extra for the 4 people , they should at least include the amenities for 4. Two of us decided to skip morning showers based on the condition of the bathroom. All in all , i would probably look elsewhere next time. Unless of course they have updated rooms elsewhere in the hotel.

Downtown hotel

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Convenience for shopping and eating.
Cons: Water pressure in shower is a disaster. Takes a very long time to take a decent shower.
Convenient for shopping and casual dining. Hotel is a little "dated" and can do with a paint job to lighten it up. Staff helpful.

It was downtown

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: It was in walking distance of where we had to be.
The staff was pleasant enough. Our room was disappointing. The wallpaper was scuffed up. Paint was peeling in bathroom. The room was worn looking.

Well situated and convenient for downtown Toronto

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: There weren't a lot of lifts for the size of the hoter.
Location: Well located on Yonge Street not far from shopping and very close to eating/drinking places
The breakfast was very varied and there was something to suit everyone. The hotel was located near the Eaton Shopping Centre and close to many restaurants and fast food outlets. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

Excellent Hotel

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: It was all good
Location: The location is excellent, halfway between the Eaton Centre and Bloor Street it is walking distance to shops and entertainment.
One hotel stands out in my years of travel, the Hilton in Budapest, where every time I left or entered the hotel I was greeted by name. At the Marriott Courtyard in Toronto, I now have a second memorable experience. Greg at the front desk was an excellent introduction to a very good hotel. The staff were friendly and nothing seemed like too much trouble for them. Very well trained in the hospitality industry they made it a pleasure to stay there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good location right by subway

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Valet parking, restaurant right on the first floor, good location
Cons: A refrigerator in each of the rooms would be good. The airconditioner unit was already at the coldest, the fan at the highestnot able to make it cold
Location: We were there to go to an appointment at the Toronto General Hospital. We could have jumped on the subway and gone to any number of places.
We had a good stay, excellent staff, eager to serve us and make sure we were getting what we needed
