Scarborough

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The staff
Location: Twenty minutes from downtown Toronto. Also went to Scarborough Bluffs Park along Lake Ontario which was beautiful.
Nice but fairly old hotel. The staff was very good. Had a problem with obtaining their Wi-Fi and the staff helped me to do that. Then had a problem with the television, went to the front desk and someone came right up to the room with me and fixed that. The free breakfast area was rather small and the first morning there, I had no where to sit to eat breakfast.

Days Inn was very disappointing.

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Nothing.........The staff was rude and unwelcoming. You tell them good morning, they did not even have the respect and manners to respond.
Cons: Everything, the room aroma, bathroom and the overall inn and staff.
Location: Not sure....
Terrible: carpet in bedroom was not vacuumed, environment smell terrible, I wanted to leave immediately however, due to doing my ticket through Expedia I would not have gotten a refund. The bathroom did not appear clean with disinfectant , towels were hard and discolored. Bathroom shower curtain was discolored and had a lot of stains. The keys machine for the hotel was not working we had to get keys the following day. It was just a weekend from hell.

Only if you have too

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: This hotel needs to start investing money in renovations and hire proper cleaning staff
Location: location was fine , close to downtown
The room had a smell that was very very unpleasant , the bed cover had burnt cigarette holes not I need to say more!

Expedia stuck us (nonsmokers) in a smoking room!

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Cons: Make all rooms non-smoking (safer and healthier).
Location: Easy drive into Toronto.
Beware, Expedia stuck us (nonsmokers) in a smoking room without warning or indicating the room could be a smoking room. We chose the best rate, Expedia chose the room. The staff were great and did all they could to change our room, but the hotel was sold out. Other than that, great stay at a reasonable price and we would go back. The beds are very comfortable.

night at the Days in hotel

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: I like that is close to downtown. Very quite place... Rooms were very clean... And breakfast was very fresh and it was a lot to eat
Cons: The condition of the rooms. They need to be repair. I read before that I went there that rooms were not updated...I did not have that impression.
Location: Location was very good. Few min from downtown by car. And it has a beautiful park across.I wish there were close restaurant for families
Nice hotel...Clean room, updated rooms. Good breakfast, plenty of food. Staff was okay, but not very friendly. I like that is close to downtown Toronto, but not in the middle of downtown.

Disappointed

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: The room was clean. Breakfast was sufficient.
Cons: Shuttle to the beach.
Location: Nothing if you don't have a vehicle. Which I didn't this time.
Arrived around 5pm. Construction Construction. in parking lot. Woke up at 1am guests in room next door making a lot of noise. I just had minor surgery and needed the rest. No view. Nothing to do close by. Will never ever stay at this Days Inn again.

Ok for our needs

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: Queen size beds....comfortable
Cons: We weren't really at the hotel and awake long enough to really evaluate the hotel
Location: "close" to downtown and the event we were attending. Definitely cheaper than the hotels in the downtown area.
Hotel was Ok for our needs. We were looking for a quick sleep and be gone by 6:30 AM. Room was clean and comfortable. Queen size beds were the same. We all had a good nights sleep (albeit too short...not the hotels fault at all-:-)). Breakfast was available and the usual fare. We weren't looking for a "hotel experience"...just a place to sleep "near" downtown that didn't break the bank. This Hotel fit the bill.
