Nice place, good location, simple breakfast but good. Clean and spacious room The staff who was in the check in was not that friendly; however the others were decent.

Outdated hotel almost in the outskirts

Pros: The Staff
Cons: Rooms need renovations URGENTLY. A coat of paint for the outside will help also
Location: No places nearby that I would recommend. also Is not close to public transportation.
The rooms smelled damp, actually I had to request a room change since first one stunk like a damp ash tray(The room was a non smoking room). The rooms are falling apart, broken towel racks, leaky faucets, the telephone was missing buttons, lumpy pillows, worn tub just looks aged and not kept up. Needs renovations urgently. The staff is really helpful and friendly they do the best they can with what they have.

Fair Price for a Fair Hotel

We stayed at Days Inn for three nights. Our room was comfortable, and cleaned well each day. It was about a pleasant 20 minute drive to downtown Toronto and about 20 minutes to the Toronto Zoo. Breakfast was simple yet adequate, which saved us some money on eating breakfast out for three days. The neighborhood seemed nice enough with a really beautiful park overlooking Lake Ontario just a 5 minute walk away. There were drug stores and grocery stores just a short distance away. The staff was courteous and helpful. The price was set right for the hotel and the location, and we feel pretty good about that. This is a safe bet for people who are traveling on a tighter budget like ourselves. Thanks Days Inn and Staff!

Don't be fooled, this place is nasty.

This place was a waste of money. I was given one bath towel, and when I asked the cleaning lady for another one I was treated like a thief. She actually came to my room not believing there was only one. I paid 90 dollars for this room. The worst part though was that my room stunk like body odor. Like someone had been holed up in there for a very long time and didn't use deodorant. I swear it was in the fibers of everyone in that room. NASTY. Oh, and don't expect to be on the lake. No, just say no.

Great hotel for the price

We were well received when checking in and all staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean. Bathroom could use a better scrubbing as there was dust on the vents but everything else was very clean. The walls aren't soundproof so we had a small disturbance from our neighbors nightly visit. The breakfast is great. Quite a variety (bagels,toast, cereal, muffins, sausages, eggs, waffles, juice, coffee and more!!) Would definitely stay there again!!

I have stayed here before about 3 years ago. I am staying here now for another extended period of time and since I was last here, the rooms have been beautifully renovated, they added a free hot breakfast and the facility is kept in immaculate condition. The staff is ok but I feel that some positioned at the front desk need more training in customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers as the location is amazing, right by Lake Ontario, and downtown Toronto is not far away.

Night in Toronto

Pros: Price cleanliness, pleasant staff and breakfast
Cons: could use some updates, but that would probably up the price as well, so for us we were happy as it was.
Location: location was easy access I didn't shop so not sure what is near by
We stayed here while in business in Toronto. we were met with a friendly smile and the clerk even knew my name. This was my first visit. The rooms were dated, yet were very clean and comfortable. We were at the back side of hotel so we did not hear any noises. The breakfast was well stock with lots of variety. The parking was free. Free Wifi We were there on business, so we never visited anything in the area.

Greedy Desk Clerk

The hotel was great. I booked and paid a head of time and upon check in the clerk said I had not reserved the room for my children, that they were to old, but he would give me the room anyways, then he called the room after we got settled and said we had to pay $10 extra for the children. I have rented many rooms and we have never been asked to pay extra for our kids. He said children are 12 and under but online when I booked it said 17 and under. Maybe he just wanted to make a few bucks. I gave him $10. who knows if the hotel actually seen it. We stayed only 1 night and then stayed at another days inn closer to downtown and they only charged 1 amount for all my family. The breakfast at this hotel was decent though.
