Daughter's wedding weekendPosted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: The front desk staff (Mahmood) were very helpful and congenial.
Cons: The elevators, the pillows, the buffet presentation and the lobby carpet (worn out near the rotating entry doors).
Location: Good access to airport,
We booked in here as it was close to the wedding venues(not in the hotel). Check in was smooth as we had 3 rooms for 4 days and two rooms for 1 day. Breakfast buffet was not good and overpriced. Elevators sound like they need maintenance (one sounded like the top pulley was square). Room was nicely renovated but balcony was out of bounds due to renovations (?). Pillows were terrible. Saturday night saw a wedding reception carry on in the 14th floor hallway until 3AM with vomit left on the carpet (not the hotel's fault). Sunday, grandkids came over but water slide was CLOSED and the next day the pool was shut down for maintenance (no knowledge of this when we booked OR at Check-in). Mahmood at the front desk was great!

Construction, unmet requests & city view???Posted Aug 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
We live in Brampton and I chose this hotel because of the proximity, and more importantly, the supposed available "balcony" (WITH CITY VIEW) and pool facilities. Unfortunately, upon arrival, DESPITE the email I sent WELL in advance of our stay requesting the best suite possible and advising we were celebrating our anniversary, we were placed in a room on the 5th floor which was under construction and the door to our "JULIETTE" balcony didn't even open!!! I tried to be more specific regarding our specifications prior to our stay, and we were offered a "suite" that would have cost us an extra $100. This would have taken our cost to almost $300 for just one night!! Perhaps you should change your description? We were eventually reassigned to a room with an opening balcony door, but this obstacle was extremely frustrating, ESPECIALLY given my earlier email. Aside from that, the decor was hardly welcoming, unless of course brown, orange and stark furnishings (VERY office-like) are your style. To top it all off, we thought maybe we might sleep in for a treat, but they started drilling/construction around 9 a.m.!!! I'm not an overly picky person, although I suppose it may sound like it, but I was not impressed and would suggest the Holiday Inn or Marriott!

Welcome BackPosted Aug 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel is renovated and the rooms are much nicer now. The rates didnt go up much since they renovated. The food in the hotel is great. I havent tried the pool but the gym and the people working there are great. Only if parking was free.

Value for moneyPosted Aug 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel was clean and bed was very comfortable. Due to there being a convention going on it was a little noisy but overall I would definitely stay here again.
