Hotel was fine and clean. Pity it on outskirts of city near homeless shelter and has beggars outside every time you leave hotel

Downtown Toronto Hotel

Pros: Location
Cons: Parking rates.
Location: Very close to the entertainment district.
Hotel is right downtown close to everything. The area nearby is a little sketchy, but there were no issues.

Nice hotel in not so nice location.

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Room, staff, amenities were great.
Cons: Other than moving to another location, not sure what I could recommend. Perhaps a hotel shuttle?
Location: About a 30 minute walk from TIFF Lightbox and as one person put it, "isn't that the area of town where all the prostitutes are?"
The hotel itself is fine. Everything you'd expect from a Hilton Garden Inn, but the location can be a bit sketchy at night and I don't know that I would stay in that area again, but if you're on a budget, it isn't a terrible option…as long as you factor in the cost of cab rides you'll need to take there at night.

Good located to many of Torontos attractions. Unfortunately a little bit expensive for the comfort which is offered.

Decent hotel.

Cons: Yes, front desk- more than one person. Pool needs cleaning. we were there for 3 days. If possible add enclosed M/F showers at the pool.
Hotel fine, lobby redone, room good includes Kuerig. Pool small, needs a real scrubbing. Only hitch- On arrival, only one person at the desk. Some older folks needed help with luggage etc. which was not readily available. Otherwise friendly, able staff. Location OK. Short walk to "Centre"- Eaton Centre, Yonge Street. stay again- Yes. Had young grandchildren with us for 2 nights- no problem.

Downtown Toronto Hotel

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Liked the breakfast buffet as it had lots of variety, your own style eggs and fresh fruit.
Location: Location is great for entertainment and dining out.
The hotel was centrally located within a 2km. walk to our destinations. We could easily get to Ripley aquarium and the Air Canada Centre for a concert. It's a good feeling to park your car and not have to worry about driving around a busy city. Valet parking seemed expensive however you knew your vehicle was secure.

Not bad!

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Very spacious and pretty clean. Friendly and helpful staff. There's a Tim Hortons across the street!
Cons: Being a bit picky here: the edge of the tub was dusty and the garbage can in the bathroom was on the toilet seat instead of the floor.
Location: The area looks like it's in the gentrification stage, so there are a few spots that we had to be careful in.
Kind of sketched out at first, but not too bad of a hotel.

Was not informed that we had to pay $42 a day for parking. Site should have made that clear.
