Aesthetically pleasing but room was uncomfortable

Pros: Over all aesthetically the hotel looked good. Front desk staff was very nice.
Cons: See notes about smelly sheets and bulky pillows above
Location: Location was excellent in relation to where we needed to be.
I had a terrible night's sleep. My sheets smelled terrible, like a mix of tons of bleach and dirty water. Fortunately I could switch to the other bed which was an improvement but made me wonder if the sheets had been changed! Pillows were way too bulky and gave me a neck kink, had to sleep without a pillow and yet I had a choice of 6 of them BUT they were all the same bulk and firmness. Room was also noisy. Overall I was disappointed.

Very nice hotel. It's an older hotel that has been kept up pretty well. Our tub had a bit of wear but for the most part it was nicely maintained.

Overall experience was good. Breakfast service in hotel dining room was very poor - inattentive best describes it. Dining room was not busy at the time.
