“Too far from downtown”

Nice people, clean rooms, good breakfast, but visitors are not advise that the hotel is too far from downtown Toronto. They should have brochures and trip tourist packages available.

“5 nights wonderful, 1 night "HELL"”

I stayed 6 nights in the hotel, and there is a lot of good, a bit of bad. The good: the place seems to be fairly new, spotless, clean, and one of the most confortable beds I have ever sleep on. The staff went out of there way to help, for example if you asked how to get somewhere from the hotel, they would look it up, and print it out in a map to assit you in your travel. The morning food fair was great! Eggs, bread of all types, juices and coffee or tea of all kinds, either ham, or bacen, or sussage as a meat, and even pancakes from a device made fresh while you watch. Now the one bad....One night a number of kids, my guess 50, age 10 to around 16 years old were there for socker sports being played in the area. I found that teams often book this hotel for these events....mainly over a weekend. The kids went wild, running all over the place until after midnight, then even thou they made it to their rooms, I could hear horseplay and such till about 1:30 am. It made for one of the worse nights I have ever spent in a hotel. Again, only one night, and the other 5 nights were heven.

Area recommendations

Unionville is a small town about 10 min. from the hotel, a town that has such chareter, and has been used in a number of TV shows, and movies due to the old vintage homes and shops on main street. A fun place to just stroll down the street, stop at a brakery for a sweet, and cup of coffee. A number of places to eat can be found as well.

Getting around

be warned.....traffic is really bad, this from someone who travels in the LA area of California. Subway is hard to figger out, and you pay dearly to park just about anywhere in the city of toroto.

“Everything looks brand new!”

This hotel exceeded our expectation. Although it is already in its third year, everything is well-maintained. The only problem is the air-conditioner is quite noisy and temperature not too stable. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

“Comfortable Stay”

From the efficient check-in, convenient location, clean upkeep, decent mattress, plentiful parking to the food options at breakfast, we were happy to have chosen Holiday Inn Express. The lady furnishing supplies for breakfast was outstanding in her diligence and attitude. making sure every station was well-suppied.

“This Hotel was very spanky and the staff was polite.”

I couldn't have found a better Hotel for my vacation, it had everything I needed from WiFi to the complimentary breakfast in the mornings. Very quiet and clean.

“Good business location hotel”

The stay was good, no complaints. Quiet, and the suite was clean and well laid out. Pool was a salt water pool, so te kids decided not to swim after sunburns at Canada's Wonderland!

“Visiting family closeby”

We were pleased with this hotel, clean and maintained. The free express breakfast had variety. The set-up was small and many people were taking advantage. This could be expanded upon since it seems to be popular. There was plenty of seating. If you want a full hot breakfast we could not find anywhere close by. We would recommend this hotel. For our visit this hotel was centrally located.

Area recommendations

Toronto, and Unionville. Toronto has a lot to do. Unionville has a small downtown that is worth the walk. Sunday's have a farmer's market.

“One of the best hotel for its price.”

I am very happy with the service and how convenient the hotel was. I was greeted by the front desk with great smile. The room was newly modeled with nice contemporary style. It was great the front desk called and asked if I needed anything after I settled in.
