Holiday Inn Express Toronto East - Scarborough

The hotel was ok but nothing more. Room was clean but I think someone smoked in the bathroom as there was a lingering odour even though it was a non-smoking room. Good if you want a quick easy stay. Front desk staff was pleasant and quick.

We had a very pleasant stay at this Holiday Inn. I read the reviews before we booked this hotel and we have no regrets and would definitely stay here again. We were surprised to find that our room did come with a mini fridge and a microwave! It made it so convenient to keep some drinks cold and pop a bag of popcorn. Other reviewers stated that their rooms did not have a fridge and a microwave, so I'm not sure why our room had them. There is a microwave available for use on the main floor, but not in the breakfast buffet area. Just ask the staff for directions. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size for the two of us staying there. Hotel staff were very attentive and friendly and the buffet breakfast was very good. Their coffee was great! We also took advantage of the computers and printer in the lobby area to print our boarding passes for our return flight home.

The hotel is conveniently located right by the highway as well as next door to the keg steak house where I enjoyed a delouse meal. The room was very nice for the price you pay. Bed very spacious and comfortable with free wifi and a very clean bathroom, The staff were extremely polite and call you about 20minutes after you check in to make sure everything is to your satisfaction and offer you a complementary breakfast buffet in the morning which turned out to be very delicious. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed here because I was attending a conference at the Centennial Conference which is just down the road. The hotel isn't terrible but its definitely a discount establishment. PROS I had to attach an extra day at the last minute and they were very accommodating and the manager even remembered me when I checked in the next day which was nice. Free breakfast Free parking Close to freeway entry and not very far from Scarborough City Center (about 5 min drive) CONS I booked a non-smoking room but it reeked when I got in. I was exhausted from travel so didn't alert the team until the next morning. However, when I did let the front desk know, they offered me a change of room or the use of their "ozone" machine. I chose to use the machine and that thing worked so well I am considering getting one for my house. My room was never cleaned very well - trash wasn't emptied once and generally have seen much better at other hotels. Breakfast is very plain - yoghurt, insta-juice, toast and pancakes, etc and some fruit. I only chose to eat there once and went hungry the rest of the time Overall not bad, but I would only choose to stay here if I needed access to Centennial again

his was the first time we stayed there and will be returning in two weeks, friendly staff, comfortable room...Overall, very nice experience

Our experience with this hotel is superb, from checking in to the staff doing ever thing to make our stay enjoyable.This is the sixth time we have stayed here, .

It was a pleasant experience.I would book again when in Toronto. tthe only thing I feel could be improved is the placing of the tables to make it available for a couple of more tables for two.

Everything you can expect for a 3 star hotel. Room was clean and spacious.
