Over night stay in oakville.

The front desk clerk was frazzled before we walked in. Was not welcoming or friendly. Our room had a leak in the ceiling so we called the front desk. Same guy told me we needed to wait until his partner showed up but the hotel was full. So I said then what am I waiting for. He said a decision from his colleague. Will be about 15 minutes. I expressed the need for another room and that water coming from the ceiling is not acceptable. Got another room. When we came down to the desk apparently they were arguing about our situation. Not that we heard them he dcided to tell us about it.

Average hotel in good location.

Pros: Location
Cons: Better lighting and use of space needed. Leaks in the roof should be fixed.
Location: Berry farm, shops and restaurants down town. close to the lake.
Most staff are pleasant. Hotel is gloomy and quiet. Restaurant food was not bad. Good for one or two nights on business travel NOT family holiday.

Typical Holiday Inn.

A fine hotel with no frills. Food was awful, though; I ate dinner there the night I arrived and ate out every other meal, even breakfast.

Good room - bad location within hotel

We were given a room overlooking the hotel atrium which meant we had no privacy without the drapes being fully closed. We had no natural light yet the day was lovely and sunny.

Good stay

Enjoyed our stay. Wished the room had a bit more stay for 2 adults and 2 small kids. Friendly chef whom my kids loved and nice wait staff.

Great Hotel near Via Rail

Couldn't use the pool, not clean. Need some repairs. Breakfast is simple for the price. I like the proximity being near Via. I will not do my reservation by Hotel.com the rate is better calling directly the Holiday Inn including breakfast.
