Centrally located.

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The location is excellent, close to theatres, shopping and restaurants. The subway and all forms of public transportation are all available.
Cons: I doubt that they could make the rooms larger. The TV is located on the shelf that serves as a desk and not quite in front of the bed.
Location: Maple Leaf Gardens is next door and there's a great Loblaws food store with sushi and great take out if you don't want to go to a restaurant.
Once upon a time this was a Days Inn. I stayed there then and it was a dump. The one thing I didn't remember was the address. The rooms are very small. The hotel has been renovated since the hotel was a Days Inn. Upon checking into our room we found a condom wrapper under the night table. In the ice bucket was a banana peel. Mixed in with the coffee pot and the coffee packets was a beer bottle cap. How well was the room inspected? I brought these facts to the manager on duty when we checked out and without hesitation he reimbursed me for my two nights of parking.

Good location for a jaunt in the city

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The location was great. It was walking steps from the subway. A big Loblaws was right next door to purchase provisions. Restaurants as well.
Cons: Lack of hot tub could be made more clear. The homeless on the street were a downer.
Location: 5 minute walk from College subway station. Buy a weekly pass for the TTC and you're good to go just about anywhere.
I stayed for a week for a conference in the city. The double bed room was a bit small but very clean. I missed a shower tub. I also would have liked a clock in the pool room and a hot tub. I came and went as I pleased.

Nice hotel. Close to almost everything.

Posted Jul 20, 2014
The hotel was nice. It was minutes from a grocery store, restaurants, the Eaton's Center and other shops. The only issue was being woken at 3:45am because the fire alarm was pulled. It was not the fault of the hotel or staff however. The rooms are quite small but this gets you out, which is why you have come to a toronto right?

Good choice for downtown TO

Posted Jul 19, 2014
The price was reasonable considering that it was downtown. It was conveniently located right next to the subway and buses/street cars. My main concern when travelling is always bedbugs. Upon detailed inspection of the room on arrival, nothing looks fishy. Overall, it was a great stay!

Great location, nice hotel

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Location, most of all
Cons: Rooms need to be a bit larger, too tight
Location: Carlton Street near Yonge, streetcar access neat hotel, Loblaws next door, Carlton Cinemas on other side of hotel, Yonge Street a block away - perfect
Perfect location near Yonge Street - nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, nice parking garage attached behind the hotel. One thing - the room was very tight, hardly any room to get out of bed / walk to the window in our room

Nice hotel in downtown Toronto.

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: The location is great to explore downtown Toronto. It is walking distance from many attractions although a little farther to the waterfront.
Location: Yonge Street, Dundas Square, Eaton Centre, Ontario Provincial Legislature, Maple Leaf Gardens.
The hotel was easy to find and access from the Don Valley Parkway. The self-parking option is great for those who chose to drive in Toronto. This is an affordable hotel that offers comfortable, no nonsense amenities. We stayed over for a family weekend but I managed to go running down Yonge Street early mornings to the waterfront. It was very nice. We also managed to do a little exploring of the tourist sites which were mostly walking distance from the hotel. Had a good time.
