Airport shuttle took 1 hour

Posted Dec 16, 2014
The shuttle took over an hour to pick us up from the airport. I called the hotel several times and they couldn't seem to care less. Arrived at hotel and was given two double beds instead of the king I booked through Expedia. The receptionist informed me that if you book through Expedia they reserve the right to downgrade your room type to two doubles. Hotel is old and guest services does not seem to care about guests. They actually said to me "I have never stayed here" as if that means they absolve themselves of providing a good guest experience.

Beautiful Accommodations

Posted Dec 13, 2014
We stayed for just one night and wished we had more time to stay longer. We were surprised when following the GPS it told us to "enter ferry"! Just a short cable ferry to an exclusive island. Beautiful!

Very pleased with this Holiday Inn!

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: I only stayed for a night, but overall, it was an excellent hotel.
Location: It was one of the many hotels close to the airport in Toronto. I wasn't there for a vacation this time.
This hotel came recommended by my brother. I had an over-night layover in Toronto, and decided to stay at a hotel instead of at the airport. The shuttle came within minutes. I went to the hotel restaurant and ordered a light supper. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds that I've ever slept in at a hotel. The next morning, the shuttle was on time to the minute. The shuttle drivers, the staff at the front desk, and the gentleman who was working in the hotel's restaurant were warm, friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The price was very reasonable. I couldn't have been more pleased.

NEVER AGAIN!!

Posted Nov 25, 2014
I had stayed here numerous times previously (albeit not for a couple of years), so when I logged onto your site, I decided to pay more than other hotels in the area after my flight arrived three hours late. My second floor room was dismal (woke to a window well full of pigeons & their poop) and the hallway was very dirty and extremely worn. I was so disappointed that when checking out I asked if I was given such a horrible room because I'd booked on Expedia. It was only after I was treated rudely that I told them I would never stay in their hotel again. Dirty hotel room and rude front desk ='s a lost customer. PS - As an added bonus, I was charged $18.00 for parking... for less than a 10 hour stay in hotel hell.

Convenient location

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Location, check in staff, check out process
Cons: The drains of the bath tubs should be cleaned on a daily basis; when removing the plug of the drain, found several tops of shampoo bottles.
Location: Pivoting point to go to downtown Toronto and to Mississauga's shopping area
Our experience was a little disappointing when compared to other Holiday Inn hotels. Our room lacked daily light as there was only one small window at the far end of the room. We got stock in one of the elevators twice.

Dear Oscar, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us at the Holiday Inn Toronto Airport. We are sorry to hear we fell short with the standards of Holiday Inns during your recent stay with us. We will be sure to pass along your comments to our Maintenance department to ensure all our drains are kept up to standard for all our guests. We are sorry to hear you got stuck in of the elevators twice, our team and owners are aware of the elevators acting up and we do have plans starting early next year to not only upgrade our elevators but also to do top to bottom renovations in all our guest rooms and guest public areas.
