The Madison is a pleasant alternative to the less personal hotel chains found in this fashionable district. One can get a taste of the style of homes found in the Annex while remaining close to many popular tourist attractions. I would certainly chose this location again over many of the other options in the city centre.

Had a fantastic time with my sister at Jare's place. The B&B was clean and comfortable. Jare was a fantastic host- always available when necessary and we loved when he would sit down with us at the end of breakfast with a coffee just to chat. Breakfasts were hot and tasty. The facilities were clean and nicely decorated. Access to all Toronto has to offer was so easy- street cars and buses 1 block away.

When looking for a location to stay 'in town', we looked at hotels and bed and breakfasts and based on the reviews we read, decided on the Ivy at Verity which to us seemed to have the best of both worlds - the amenities of a hotel, and the intimacy of a B and B.
Once we found the entrance to the hotel (117D by the way) we were greeted by the concierge who then took us up to our room, giving us the history of the building, and a tour of the facilities normally used by the members of the club in which the 4 rooms are located.
The room was beautiful, large and comfortable, and extended by being able to go out onto the balcony. The bathroom and room were extremely clean. In addition to the amenities in the room, there was a common area just down the hall where coffee, tea, and soft drinks were available (complimentary). An honour bar also had a range of beverages for consumption. The common area was also where you picked up your continental breakfast. Coffee was brought up to our room very expeditiously after a simple call down to the front desk.

I had an amazing time in Toronto and the hotel was a great way to start and end the night. They have a knowledgeable bar staff that got the night started and the delightful staff that manned the doors and the desk throughout the night as well as on check in and check out were fantastic. The room was great, the glass shower was a great capstone to the entire room. I would definitely stay their again.

We recently stayed at the Windsor Arms Hotel. It was a wonderful experience. It is a small hotel with a great location just off Bloor St. It is so close to fabulous shops, restaurants and transit system. The staff were very friendly and most accommodating. A warm welcome awaited us on our arrival.
Every detail in our room was tastefully done. It is probably one of the nicest and quietest hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in.
Lots of variety at breakfast and a most friendly and efficient staff.
We invited friends to join us at the hotel for dinner one evening. We were all very pleased with our meals. The food was delicious and the presentation was impressive.
We will certainly consider staying at this small intimate hotel again on our next visit to Toronto.
