“The Hotel Was Great”

It was my first time in Toronto and I wasn't exactly impressed with the city. I was there with my fiance who was an artist appearing at the FAN EXPO 2010. The hotel was wonderful, I cannot say a bad word about it. They actually provided transportation to the airport in one of their Town Cars so we didn't have to take a taxi and the price was a bit cheaper than a taxi. They also have a lovely indoor pool and spa facility. I would definitely stay there again if I had to return to Toronto

“amazing time in an amazing hotel”

Check in was quick and easy, room was easy to locate and well kept, overall appearance and feeling of hotel was welcoming, staff were kind and helpful, food in the lounge was outstanding and I cant imagine my stay could have gone any smoother.

When we go back to Toronto this will always be the hotel we will stay at. The hotel was beautiful, the city very clean and over Huge but a beautiful City.

“I Love Toronto and this hotel!”

I was well-cared for at this hotel. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and through room service. This is my idea of a luxury hotel. Everyone I dealt with in a service capacity was extremely pleasant and made my trip well worth it. Thank you, all!

“Nice place”

We had a good time there. Location is excellent to go to the Rogers Centre or CN Tower. Food court across the street....Couldn't hear the trains and were across from them. Lots of places to walk to. Parking was expensive and no elevator from the garage made it difficult to carry stuff.

“Convention Convenience”

Everything you would expect from a high class hotel, right down to the live band in the lounge bar. The room was a wonderful comfort, however the air conditioner wasn't as cold as expected even with the thermostat set to 68 degrees. I'm sure a call to the front desk would have alleviated the problem, but I had my hands full attending the FanExpo convention. I should also mention the convenience of being attached to the convention centre; it was only 5 minutes (when it wasn't crowded) to get to and from, which was the sole reason for staying. I didn't get a chance to explore fully, as I was unable to find the skywalk that led to PATH, but it was still accessible by walking across the street to Simcoe Place. The lounge is a bit pricey, but East Side Mario's was across the street, which is highly recommended. My only problem with the hotel was the shuttle service to the Toronto Pearson airport; I would have appreciated either complimentary or a discounted shuttle fee, but it actually cost more than the taxi ride from the airport. Nevertheless, the shuttle driver was friendly and actually obeyed traffic laws unlike the taxi driver we had previously. Overall, I would definitely stay here again during the next FanExpo!

“Fantastic experience”

My husband and I were very impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price! We had our room upgraded when we arrived by a very friendly clerk. The room was beautiful and spacious with an extremely comfortable bed and a big screen tv! The bathroom was average, but the supplies were well stocked. The room had a lovely view and the lobby was very elegant. The hotel is located in a very convenient part of Toronto and was accessible to everything we were hoping to see during our weekend away. Parking was a little pricey, but so is everywhere in downtown Toronto!

“Great location, great welcome!”

We chose the Intercontinental Toronto as it had the best price for the type of hotel we wanted. What we inadvertently did however was book a hotel that was within a few minutes walk of Union Station which was perfect as we took the train from Ottawa. The welcome was excellent, we were greeted with a smile and called by our names immediately. We were offered a choice of views (we chose the view of the CN Tower) and were given all the information we needed upon check in. Given that we were checking in early, it was great that a room was ready for us at that time. As mentioned, the hotel is very close to the CN Tower and there are a good number of restaurants and bars nearby. We did not get a chance to use the Azure restaurant at the hotel, but will next time. We only had one night in Toronto and wished we had made it two - great hotel, great location, great city.
