Quality matches the price

Area was a bit sketchy, hotel wasn't the nicest. The staff were friendly and the room was clean enough. If you're not picky on quality and are looking for an extremely cheap room with all the necessities than this hotel is a good fit. Also only a 20 minute drive to downtown Toronto.

unfortunate experience

Posted Sep 2, 2014
waited for a while to get the reservation and room info sorted out due to the system being down, but that's alright. When I finally head to my room, hotel staff was putting in toiletries last minute. Even after putting in toiletries, he came back for some odd reason. Just peculiar invasive behaviour from hotel staff that lacked professionalism.

Awful!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Hotel was barely empty. They gave us a room at the basement level. There was mold in the bathroom, whole in the wall under the sink. Body hairs everywhere. Moist rate was awful. The bed towels were barely wet. Wallpaper is curly and the ambiant odour was disgusting. Even found body hairs in our beds. Totally awful.

Located near the zoo and a couple bus lines.

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Price, proximity to transit.
Cons: Better responsiveness of hotel staff, better care in cleaning and replacing supplies in the room.
Location: Walking distance of some commercial plazas and bus lines, nice view of a creek over a bridge.
Beds were made funny (sheets not reaching to the pillow). Cleaning staff didn't replace supplies in the room, even after we complained.

Ok for a one night stay.

Not the worst I have experienced but could be better. Not perfectly clean but not filthy. The hotel needs to pay attention to the finer details such as fixing/replacing the older or broken towel racks, locks, toilets, carpets, etc. The breakfast...arrive early if you want toast or milk for cereal...ran out and nobody refilled. Only had one kind of muffin, cereal, toast, and make your own waffle (and juice and coffee).
