Rained in at Le GermainPosted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: European flavor. Helpful staff. Great location. Very cool room
Cons: Can you make the weather better next time? Seriously, it was little hard to find and parking was valet but pretty expensive
Location: Right downtown in the financial district next to the hockey/basketball arena. Four blocks from Rogers Centre/Skydome.
This was our first time in Toronto - we came primarily for a Blue Jays game. The weather was very wet and windy, and my wife was feeling a little under the weather. So, we just holed up in our room and enjoyed the European flavor of it. Loved the glassed in shower and all the amenities. The bed was a king and very comfortable. Breakfast was a little strange but with plenty of choices and enjoyable. Staff was very cordial and helpful. The location was fantastic, as we were able to walk most of the way to the Rogers Centre indoors - about 4 blocks. There's a grocery store under the hotel which proved very convenient. We ate dinner in the hotel bar and the bartender was really nice and food was good. I'd definitely stay here again if we came back to Toronto.

Great hotel with excellent locationPosted Jul 1, 2015
My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. Our stay was great. The staff was friendly, our room was a nice size, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel allowed us to walk just about everywhere we visited. We plan to stay here on our next visit to Toronto.

Quick Anniversary GetawayPosted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Rooms are great. Modern design, great wardrobes where they are supposed to be, near the washroom. Great breakfast.
Cons: Heavy door that slammed.
Location: Walking distance to ACC, Sky Dome, CN Tower, Eaton Center, Convention Center, Lakeshore. Many great restaurants as well.
Great place to stay. Was looking for something close to CN Tower and this was within throwing distance. Great rate too compared to some of the others nearby. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Forgot my iPhone charger and they were able to provide a unit for use.

Moderne zentrale OptionPosted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: Die modernen sehr neuwertigen Zimmer

One of Toronto's bestPosted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Location, service, staff, room design, hotel design, breakfast buffet
Cons: Electrical motor to shut the curtains
I often travel to Toronto and have tried pretty much all the hotels in this category. I must say that Le Germain is one of the best overall. The service and attention to details is amazing. And the room's design and functionality is second to none. Try it and you'll be hooked ;-)

Best hotel in TorontoPosted Jun 4, 2015
This was by far one of the best, if not the best hotel stay I've ever had. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Very knowledgeable about the surroundings and where to go. Room was impeccable. Whenever I come to Toronto, this is where I'll stay!

Classy, Elegant and Friendly.Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: The high quality of bed, the linen, towels, fixtures. Helpful staff. Quirky and cool décor.
Cons: Breakfast is inclusive which is great but could do with a bit of daily variation. Bar music too intrusive. Hard to talk.
Location: Walking distance to all the main attractions. Shops a bit further away but an excellent Longons Supermarket beneath the hotel. Handy for snacks etc.
I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. Our room had the most comfortable bed with high quality linen. The housekeeping standards are of the highest level. Corridors somehow remain unaffected by cleaning staff. There is no evidence of them, yet the work gets done and gets done superbly. The décor is impressive throughout the hotel with a nice relaxation area on the 2nd floor. Breakfast is fine. We stayed for 7 nights and got a bit bored as it doesn't vary unless you pay extra. It is busy outside and you can hear traffic from the freeway although this was minimal on the 8th floor. Our room overlooked a construction site but this is inevitable in Toronto. A good view of the tower and entertainment district from the room. Lovely to watch the tower light up at night. Location is excellent for Union Station, the bay, the aquarium, tower and Rogers Stadium. Not much in the way of malls but only a short hop to Eaton Centre. On a personal note - we were meeting daily with family who live in Toronto. They came and went from the hotel, including our room and were made to feel most welcome. This was lovely as there was a baby to change feed from time to time. Staff are extra friendly and kind. Not sure about the massive picture of a diving soccer player above the bed! Highly recommended and thanks for looking after us.

Prime Location...Prime PropertyPosted May 27, 2015
I've stayed at a number of unique properties over the years--even some historic inns, which still used old-fashion room keys, but Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square is like The Jetsons meeting Disney's Tomorrow Land. Very modern décor, with futuristic touches. Each room is adorned with a large photograph of a Toronto professional athlete--ours was over the bed's headboard, which was kind of amusing. The room was spotless, fairly spacious, quiet and had an extremely comfortable bed. The stay included a complimentary continental breakfast including hot oatmeal, a variety of cold cereals, breads, cheeses & deli meats, bagels and sweets. Very satisfying. The staff, from the front desk, to doorman, to maids were friendly and helpful. I really liked the location, which was only about a 10 minute walk to The Rogers Center, where we took in a Blue Jays game. The Air Canada Center is across the street from the hotel, as is a subway station. The only negative that comes to mind is, valet parking-- a whopping $45 a day ! However, at check-in, the front desk gentleman offered a less expensive option of self-parking in the garage adjacent to the hotel. It wound up costing only $45 for two days. Overall, staying at Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square was a great experience, and I'd definitely re-book next visit to Toronto.
