“Excellent hotel”
My stay at this hotel was wonderful. The room was beautiful, spotless, and had a great view. The staff was always courteous and helpful. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit to Toronto.
“"Absolutely Perfect"”
As stated, "extremely satisfied" in every way. Second time staying at the Pantages, each time of which was perfect in all aspects. Room was wonderful; Service personnel could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Location in down town could not have been better for my purposes [theater]. Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in a specific review on it. Can't imagine staying anywhere else should I care to revisit the city.
“great location, beautiful hotel”
The hotel is right by Yonge St and a few blocks from Dunnes Square (Toronto's version of the Times Sq). So location is optimal. This approximity, however, can result in street noise carrying up to your room unless your room is way up. There was also noise from neighboring rooms that we could hear, so sound proofing is not the best. Other than that, really great hotel. No complains and would visit again. Close to everything, including metro. The lobby bar was great, rooms were recently renovated and updated and the hotel service was super friendly.
“Spacious rooms in downtown Toronto”
Pantages is a great option for staying in the central downtown Toronto area. It is not too far south into the financial district and it is not too far north into the Yorkville area. It is nice in the middle so you can easily walk anywhere, including the Queen Street streetcar that takes you east and west. Rooms at the Pantages are very spacious and well-appointed. A kitchenette, a washer/dryer (which came in handy after a swirling rainstorm fell over the city one night), a large bed. All very neat and clean and in working order. The hotel rooms are in the contemporary style that all hotels have followed since the W. It's not the depressing beige and fake wood and sad pictures of flowers on the wall---it's sleeker and little more sophisticated.
“Deserves its Insider Select category”
Excellent hotel, right in the heart of the city about a few blocks from toronto's times square, also walking distance to a few theatres (we watched wicked next door) and the largest mall is across the street. Excellent quality of service , an example is that they did not have any available safe when we checked in, next morning somebody knocked and brought the safe in our room. all along i thought they had forgotten about it.. I get the impression the hotel cares about customer service. would go here again kudos to the manager and staff
“Impressed, I wasn't waiting all that”
The room is huge and very very very functional. The only downside is the television: it's very hard to see it from the beds, because they are very apart and there's a door in the furniture that keeps closing and hiding the TV. That's something I found that wouldn't make me feel bad about the place. Never. And a didn't like the pillows (but the bed is good).
“Not impressed.”
I had stayed at the Pantages once before and had no problems. Unfortunately, this visit was plagued with problems. Even though we booked non-smoking rooms in advance, none were available. The shower ceiling in one of the rooms was peeling so badly, that the paint fell off while showering. During one day of our stay, our dirty towels were removed and not replaced, there were no bath robes in any of the three rooms. All of these items were reported to the front desk and none of them were rectified. I also filled out the hotels satisfaction survey, in detail but have had no response. At the price we were paying, this hotel was not up to standards.
“Great Weekend Getaway”
Great hotel in great location. Our room was clean upon arrival however all towels were not restocked daily which was really no big deal for us. We requested a CD player and had to pay extra. On the positive side we had a coffee maker in our room and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very kind and the hotel is located in a great area. We would most definitely stay at the Pantages again.
“Another Fun Filled Weekend in Toronto”
We very much enjoyed our stay at Pantages; especially liked the hardword floors in our superior suite. The room was large, clean and modern.
“Awful never go back”
First off we were down graded to a smaller uncomfortable room for 80$ more then we originally booked. when we got there we HAD to do a 35$ mandatory valet parking. then when we checked in the receptionist told us that she was putting an extra 150$ hold on the credit card in case anything was broken, which was a problem because we didnt have the extra money on the card. then when we got to the room the television didnt work, there were blue and black scuffs all over everything in the bathroom and if you walked on the floor with out shoes on it turned your feet black from how dirty it was. it was pretty vacant, we didnt see a single person at it. it was WAY to pricey for how bad the hotel was.
