“Great Location”

Location was perfect for me. I was working at Exhibition Center and jumped on a street car right in front of hotel. Great sports bar/restaurant at hotel as well.

“Not impressed, at best”

My bed had a mattress that had been vomited on. It was clearly noticeable (smell and stain) and should have been picked up by housekeeping. I spent one night on this smelly mattress. It was exchanged the next day, but no one offered an excuse. All I was told is "this can happen". A discount or at least complimentary breakfast would have been appropriate in my opinion but I received a fruit plate in my room instead and the fruit were not fresh. There were also problems with a toilet that did not flush well and a tub that did not drain well. I did not report these problems but I can't understand how housekeeping would not notice. I clearly would not return.

“a retreat in the city”

hotel is in a great location with small grocery and many dining options nearby. super easy to catch the street trolley. my daughter and I felt completely safe and enjoyed being near the water. Great indoor dog activity center next door with a natural deli-yummy muffins.
