Convinent but expensive and warn out

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Room was standard but carpet was all frayed and old. The room smelt bad. Tv controller didnt work. The plus is that it is convinent for flights. For the price it isnt a great deal. I suggest taking a shutle to another hotel close.

Right across the street from Terminal 3 at YYZ

Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Getting a bit tired. Needs to be spruced up a bit
Stayed night before a departure to Florida on Jan 10, 2015. Good location although parking is astronomical ( not owned by hotel). Check in good. Restaurant food average.

Perfect place to stay for a layover in Toronto.

If your flights are in and out of terminal 3 in particular, this hotel could not be more conveniently located. Check-in at ~10pm on a Sat eve took 3 minutes.

comfort and convenience

Posted Jan 10, 2015
Pros: mostly everything!
Cons: 1) there is NO direct access from the pool area to the shower/change rooms - you must walk out and down a "cool" hallway a distance away.
Location: ????????
- front desk staff very welcoming, pleasant and helpful - great being able to access either terminal by way of shuttle without ever stepping a foot outdoors (in the freezing winter weather) -our stay was for 1 night (7:30p.m. - 2:45 a.m.) but still had the opportunity to use pool, whirlpool, locker and shower rooms........ extremely clean - prior to me going swimming, my husband and I had a wonderful meal in their dining room ........ atmosphere was very relaxing but thought it would have been nice having some soft background music playing to complete the whole dining experience - the waiter we had greeted us well but then found as time went on, he lacked providing "good" service and when he did come around , he gave the impression of being somewhat "cold" and "uninterested". (looking back on the experience, we figure he had probably worked a long demanding shift and therefore tired) I trust that all waiters/waitresses working there are great at their jobs and that this was simply an expection on that night. This is a beautiful hotel - well decorated throughout and meticulously clean. I should also mention that our room was extremely comfortable....... expensive furniture, bed/duvet cover/4 king size pillows was outstanding.

Convenience, convenience, convenience!

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: See above!
Cons: Was expensive compared to competing airport hotels.
Location: It is all about being already on the Toronto airport property and how that saves time and exposure to the elements!
Walk indoors with luggage cart from hotel lobby to airport monorail to Terminal One at Toronto Pearson International to catch early morning flight. Amen Amen.

OK overnight stay

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Cons: Refurb the rooms
Cons - The rooms are dated and the bath area tiling is worn and in need of replacement. There was a high pitched noise coming through either room vents or room A/C which woke us up and kept us awake for an hour at 4.30am. It cost $19 plus service for a glass of white wine in the bar, pretty disappointing as the price was not on the menu we were given. Pros - The shower was powerful and it is convenient for an early morning departure from the airport. If you can stay elsewhere, off the airport, then I recommend that, shuttle buses usually only take 5 minutes to get to the terminal.

Great location room not clean

Posted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: New carpet in the room and upgrade of the bathroom.
Location: Great for park and fly. Location is fairly far from down town and not much to do around it.
Prefect location for winter travel. Carpet in the room smells and bathroom cleaned properly. In general, room showing its age.
