Disappointing for a Sheraton

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: (a) the convenience to the airport, just off terminal 3 at the airport via indoor pedway; and (b) the comfort of the bedding and pillows.
Location: Perfect location right at the airport, the convenience is great for overnight stays until your next flight out of Toronto.
The room had one light out and in the bathroom, the fan/heat lamp did not work. In addition, the ceiling was flaking in the shower area (not good). After a long flight from the Caribbean, we wanted to grab a bite. The restaurant had just closed, which was fine, so we stopped in at the lounge. Unfortunately, this was a disaster. I had ordered a chicken quasadilla which I was later told that they had run out of. As an alternate, I ordered nachos. I know this is a fairly simple item, however, they literally killed them. I have never seen so much cheese and I was told that they gave me extra cheese as an apology for not having my original order. This extra cheese was an overkill, it was at least 3-4 times more than you would ever need and you know what happens to cheese when it cools,it becomes more like a glue. When the waiter noticed I didn't finish them, he actually offered to give me more cheese, are you kidding me. My husband had ordered one of their burgers that came with a fried egg. There was a request for no onions and no spread (butter/mayonnaise, etc). What came to the table was a burger with no eggs and with spread. They switched it up for a new one, which arrived extremely fast, which now had a burnt beef patty. After this, they offered us dessert on the house because of their mistakes which we declined. Because we declined the free dessert, they gave us a whole $4.75 off the bill, what a joke. My husband & I were so tired that all we could do was laugh about it

Need directions from the car park

Posted Mar 27, 2015
This is the third time I stayed at this hotel, and the third time I found it hard to find my way from the car park to the hotel. One can get off the parking elevator on the 2nd or 5th floor for the hotel. Once off the elevator, there is nothing to help find the way. Very frustrating, particularly in winter. Other than that, it is a great place to stay when catching an early flight or landing very late. It is quiet, clean and well run.

Hotel located at Toronto International Airport.

Very nice lobby. My reservation entitled me to use the club lounge which provided good quality amenities and refreshments. The room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel is excellent for an airport hotel. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Club level

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: location
Cons: Club level evening snacks, fix drain issues in bathtub
Location: connected to Toronto airport
Stayed on club level. The tub drain was slow and backed up during shower. Some wear in bathroom. Club lounge provides evening snacks. Most of it was dried out, particularly cheese. Not satisfied with evening offering. Lounge breakfast was fantastic. Bed and linens very comfortable.

hotel close to airport

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: close to airport
Cons: sound proof the rooms
We stayed coming and going from a Cuba Holiday. The Stay down was good - close to the airport and easy to get to. The lounge was open late for a late snack and drink. On the way home. We were early and were able to get into the room early - good. However the room was not very sound proof and all the noise from the hall way and the room next door keep us away most of the night. not a pleasant experience

Great hotel at Pearson Int

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: Good staff, nice decor and clean.
It was great to not have to brave the Toronto winter for my overnight between flights. Just a one-minute tram ride from the terminal. Never had to step outside.
