Cet hôtel est très bien situé au centre-ville de Toronto, près de la gare Union. Il est plutôt tranquille et confortable. Le service est bon, même si le lobby est en rénovations en ce moment...

Decent for downtown

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: Soap dispensers. Restaurant. Comfy pillows and mattresses.
Cons: The few towels provided were like sandpaper .
Location: Difficult to get to in rush hour (one way streets and no turn signs everywhere) unless you know about the alley way next to it.
Unfortunately the lobby was under renovation and smelled bad. There was a lot of noise during the day from construction. Hopefully this will not be the case for long. The cost of parking ended up being more than the staff quoted us. Overall a clean hotel, decent restaurant, very small room, decent bathroom. Both keys stopped working at one point. No bells and whistles, so expect a utilitarian environment. Decent value for downtown TO, but not for a honeymoon. I liked how the soaps in the bathroom were in dispensers rather than tiny bottles which I find to be a huge waste.

Location is the only pro.

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: Location is the only reason I would book at this hotel again and that's if I was desperate.
Cons: The size of the room.
Great location. Super close to Union Station. Within walking distance to Eaton Centre. Good for a one night stay but terrible, cramped room. Walked in and the hotel is under construction. Front desk is really just a folding table with a cloth on it. Room is really nothing special (not recommended for couples).

Under construction

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: WiFi was excellent.
Cons: A place to cable lock items, not that the rooms aren't secure, but that the option isn't there.
Location: Downtown right near the train.
Used Tea bag in the Ice container upon arrival. Drilling / hammering early in the morning. Spilled liquor in the elevator, lots of partying.

Great location- not so great experience

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: It's location is seriously fantastic. Really close to Union Station. Jack Astor's is just across the road which me and friend were pleased with
Cons: A room that size should not have a Queen size bed in it. Also, less non-smoking literature and more information about local venues.
Location: Loads. Really really great location.
I was meeting a friend who was on a layover (I live in Northern Ontario) and we picked this hotel for mainly its location. The lobby appeared to be under construction (or at least I hope it was) and the staff were welcoming. When I reached the room however it was really disappointing. It couldn't be any smaller, it was freezing and there was no natural light. Everything was clean but I was glad that I would not be spending much time at all in the hotel. When I called the front desk, they were polite and pleasant but they seemed not to know as much as you would hope about the local area or even the hotel's own policies. Like I said, if you're looking for somewhere really close to the centre of Toronto and just a bed to stay in, it's fine but do not stay here if you want anything else.

All good

except for a noisy fan/heater - as it was one of the coldest nights of the year, it was a fine place to stay- comfortable, clean and right in the heart of the city.

A functional hotel with a good location

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: Location excellent, clean and quiet.
Cons: Desk light. WiFi is now like A/C -- not something that should be charged extra.
Location: In core, walk to Union Station and subway. Most downtown attractions within walking distance.
Hotel was under renovation with a temporary front desk. Nevertheless, it was functioning ok. Our room was recently renovated and therefore in excellent condition. It was very small, with no seating except a desk and chair. There was no desklight. It was quiet and climate control worked. WiFi was $6 per day extra.

Very clean and nice hotel, staff was great.

The hotel was nice very clean, all the staff where great. Very close to everything. My only thing with this hotel is the rooms are very small would not want to stay a long stay, But where great for a two or three night stay. We found the hotel cafe very nice with great service.
