Great location, very good infrastructure

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Clean, good service, great location
Cons: Air conditioning too noisy/windy
I can't think of a better location to get to know Toronto. Very centric and valet parking makes it a breeze to go around with your car

First class in Toronto

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Plush, luxurious and beautiful. Great service.
Cons: Parking could be included in the price.
Location: Close by everything. Even walkable to the CN Tower. Good restaurants nearby and fun places, too.
This is a bit pricey for Canada, but you do pay in Canadian, and it is worth it. Great room with large plush bath/shower. Room was beautiful and comfortable. We got free wi-fi upgrade through Expedia, which was nice, since we are used to free wi-fi in top hotels. Bar and lobby are beautiful. This is a great place for plush environs to be spoiled in. Great downtown location with terrific restaurants close by. Check out the ones that aren't on internet listings for some really good food and service. Had a great time here.

Comfy bed, tiny bathroom

Posted Jul 31, 2015
The room we had was lovely, but the bathroom was very small for 2 people. Overall it's a beautiful hotel, close to the subway and walking distance to the distillery district. Free wifi.

Very well located in downtown Toronto.

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: Very helpful staff and a very beautiful hotel. Has been remodeled but retains some of historic character.
Location: See comments above
Very close to many amenities in downtown Toronto. Walking distance to Rogers Centre, CN Tower, Hockey of Fame, and Air Canada Center. Just down the street from the wonderful St. James Cathedral and Park. Close to many very good restaurants. Walked the city every morning and just enjoyed the atmosphere. Very good accommodations. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great location in Toronto

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: Great location and close to transportation, restaurants, sites to see.
Location: Easy walk to major sightseeing venues
Only had breakfast at the hotel since there were many other location to choose from. Prices were on the high end but expectedly so due to the quality level of the hotel. However, $6.00 for a cup of coffee is a bit steep.

Beautiful Room, Uncomfortable Bed

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Room was very nice. Housekeeping could do a better job cleaning the glasses and dusting furniture. The air conditioning was very noisy and people in the corridor can be heard in the room. The bed was very soft and very uncomfortable for me. I had a terrible sleep. The renos have been done very nicky but the other issues leave a sour taste.

Historic Vintage Hotel

Posted Jul 28, 2015
The hotel is spacious and beautifully remodeled and decorated. Location is within walking distance of Hockey Hall of Fame, the St. Lawrence Market, Entertainment District, restaurants, and park. Subway stop is within the same block for ease of traveling to other neighborhoods. A problem with the bathroom sink prompted efficient service, check-up calls from the manager, and a free gift.
