Don't let the pictures mislead you.Posted Dec 4, 2013
The hotel sits overtop a bar. It is incredibly tiny. When you check in after 5pm you have to go into the bar with all of your luggage to find someone to check you in. The sheets were dirty. There was no iron or hair dryer. The window doesn't open. There wasn't ice available. I'm serious. This place was gross. I was so embarrassed to have booked it and felt that I definitely did not get my money's worth. I was so disappointed.

Excellent bargain hotel in downtown cPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Price and location
Cons: The room itself needs some paint
Location: Location is downtown Toronto a two minute walk from Osgoode subway station and a ten to fifteen minute walk to anything else in downtown.
Rooms are very small if you are looking for place to sleep can't get a better deal in downtown Toronto. If you are wanting a chain hotel don't bother with this place. The bathrooms are newly renovated with nice clean glass walled shower and stainless steel sinks and tiles, the room itself is big enough for the bed which is comfortable enough. No dressers just some coat hangers on the wall for your clothes.I would recommend to anyone just wanting a good place to sleep in the downtown district for a good price this is your place.

Convenient hotel; close to art galleries, etc.Posted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: I love listening to jazz music and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Cons: The bathroom sink could have a been cleaner upon arrival.
Location: It is very close to the CN Tower and 10 minute walk to to Art Gallery of Ontario. Also, close to good restaurants, banks, shopping, and subway.
Casual atmosphere with lot's of character. Rooms are tiny, but completely renovated and updated. Location is convenient for sightseeing and art galleries etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good price!

Hotel over Jazz bar = Awesome!Posted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Everything. It was a great experience.
Location: Just north on the same block is a parking deck so parking was easy. Located downtown everything is within walking distance.
Check in was fast and easy - much faster than hotel chains. The room was small, but clean. My only complaint is that there was no desk, otherwide I'd give Room Comfort a 5. The food in the restaurant/bar was excellent. I could hear the band just slightly in my room, but once I turned on the air conditioner, I couldn't hear it. The bed as softer than most hotels and much appreciated. Breakfast in the bar/restaurant was excellent. Coffee was good. Overall, the experience was great and I'll definitely be back.

Nice hotel in the heart of TorontoPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The room was clean, quiet, and conveniently located. There was great music and a bar downstairs that provided lots of entertainment.
Cons: I didn't really have any complaints. It would be nice if there was a weekend front desk host instead of having to go to the bar to talk to someone.
Location: There are a lot of great neighborhoods and sights nearby. Lots of markets and churches and exhibits. It's also near the waterfront
The hotel is located above a nice jazz bar and located a convenient walk from Chinatown, Kensington Market, The Waterfront, Distillery District, St. Lawrence Market, and the Hockey Hall of Fame. Despite being above a music venue, the rooms are very well soundproofed and provided a nice intimate experience. The rooms are a little smaller and could better be compared to a European Hostel than a major hotel, but my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time staying at The Rex Hotel.

Excellent localization, worth what you payPosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel has an excellent localization, therefore, if you are here for pleasure, I strongly recommend. Near shops, restaurants and sightseens, like CN Tower. People working for the hotel are so friendly and gave us a lot of tips and information about the city. The only "if" is the hotel has no elevator, so, if you have a lot of baggage, be ready !

Very simple. Perfect for the stay alone and go around the Toronto. A lot of good food in close proximity.
