“Spacious Rooms But Service Needs Work”
I stayed at this hotel and was quite surprised that when family were came to meet me, the concierge could not locate which room I was in despite spelling out both my last and first name. Once my room was found, after many flustered attempts, they were told to use the lobby phone which failed to connect. Finnally, the concierge, recognizing the frustration in completing what should be a simple task, offered use of her phone. Secondly, I left my Ipad charger after having checked out at the hotel. I called to report this and sent my fiancee to pick it up. Of course, she too had problems locating my name despite knowing the room number. And finally, the ipad charger was not left for the pick-up. I find this service odd for a four star hotel.
“Pleasant surprise”
bed was comfy, however no view from the room, gym was well equipped, would have been good to have a refrigerator in the room and I liked it that there was a washing machine available for guests.
“All the Time”
I am a frequent visitor to Toronto; you can't beat the price, quality or convenience of this hotel. It is located in the heart of downtown Toronto - a short walk to shopping, restaurants, movies, pharmacy, hair salons, etc.; fresh market just outside, Starbucks and Transit system easily accessed underground. It is connected to the underground PATH system in Toronto; you can go several blocks without having to deal with the weather. Hotel staff go the extra mile.
“Will come back.”
Very well located. Pleasent neighborhood. Close to public transportation. Good value.
“not the usual Marriott”

“Great location, but...”
This hotel is perfectly placed if you're looking for high-end shopping or proximity to the Royal Ontario Museum. It was easy to find; parking was safe and easily accessible, and everything I needed was within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful, making it easier for me to find my way around the city. Housekeeping was wonderful -- prompt and thorough. Unfortunately, they did not give me the room that I paid for (a king-sized bed is not an upgrade when there are two guests who don't want to share), and that was an irritant that colored my perception of the hotel. Also, wifi was only available at a cost of $16.95 a day, so if you need the connection, you're better off going to the nearest free hotspot. Fortunately, it's only a minute's walk, but it was another inconvenience. Overall, it was a great hotel for its location, but its amenities frustrated.
“just perfect for a bussiness stay in Toronto”
very good location , everything almost perfect
“Good location but bad service”
This hotel is located in a great area, close to all the shops. However the service at this hotel is lacking. The woman who checked us in just didn't care about customer service. After telling us that there were not any rooms available with 2 double beds, we asked if she can check the other marriots in the vacinity if they had availability. She did not want to check, so she only offered to give us a phone number for us to check. Also, I ordered an extra cot for the room but it never came so I had to call AGAIN.
“Great hotel”
Great hotel, great location, I would definetly recommend it!
“Very impressed and I would use the hotel again.”
Although the view from many of the hotel rooms is not "picturesque" by any means, the comfort and quality of the rooms more than makes up for this. In addition, the staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Lastly, the location of the hotel is ideal for visiting Toronto because it is situated on two subway lines and it is right beside Yorkville and Yonge St.
