Conveniently close to airport.

Posted Oct 19, 2014
The lobby was pleasant and up to date. The first room we were assigned had a toilet that gushed water out of the toilet when flushed. A workman came to the room immediately and we were quickly offered another room. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens and the room was spacious. The main problem was the halls and room smelled stale ( Nilodor covering up ancient smoke smells from olden days?) and the carpet had burns in it.

Filthy hotel

Posted Oct 15, 2014
I typically stay at other airport hotels in Toronto, but could not get a room anywhere else, so the Travelodge was it. Lobby is ok, but the room was not. The floor in the bathroom had dozens of long black hairs on it, contrasting nicely with the beige ceramic tile. My take was that the room was not cleaned at all. How often does it get cleaned? As a first impression, the state of the bathroom grossed me out. I wore my socks the whole time. To top it off, I was in the lobby at 5 AM for an early flight, and the coffee station was out of order. Enough said. The Travelodge is a nasty hotel!

what pool?

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: nothing ecept i slept there out of necessity
Cons: If facilities like pool are unavailable find some way to facilitate guests elsewhere.
Location: very little if anything.
Pool was unavailable do to it was broken. Only stayed at this hotel because there were no hotels available in downtown toronto. No free internet, no wifi. Bad hotel period

Comfortable and very reasonable hotel.

Due to a flight cancellation, my friend and I had to stay over in Toronto. The Travelodge Hotel Toronto Airport was superb. If you need a place to stay, would highly recommend it. The bed had a mountain of pillows and was most comfortable :-) Casey's Restaurant, which is in the hotel, was the highlight of our evening. Besides the excellent meal, the staff are the nicest and friendliest people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Although located quite a distance from the heart of downtown Toronto, the Travelodge is well worth a visit.

High price for low amenities.

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Location was the only plus for this hotel.
Cons: Advise if any changes are made to initial booking and hotel amenities.
Location: Near airport. Lots of restaurants.
We picked this hotel for its pool and proximity to the airport. No pool - closed for a month, and room was changed from our requested king size bed to two queens. The $16 for parking was also ridiculous.

Great Value, Very convenient, Comfy Bed

Posted Jul 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed just one night before an early flight out from Pearson. Very comfortable bed, room plain but practical. Large screen TV. Only "defect" was the cracked tiles in the bathroom, but these were not a hazard and did not detract from my brief stay. The free half-hourly shuttle service to the airport was very good (takes 10 - 15 minutes), and free access to print boarding passes a bonus. Casey's and Keg Steakhouse restaurants close by (Casey's is part of the same building, the Keg Steakhouse is next door).

close to Pearson international airport

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Close to Pearson airport, Staff was good.
Cons: Probably a complete revamp of the whole building.
Location: Location good, by the airport. Several restaurants near by, But because in an hotel location other entertainment non-existent, as were all hotels area
As they say in real estate, "Good curb appeal". BUT 1- carpet patched and stained. 2-Outside windows very dirty. 3-Chairs very uncomfortable 4-Lack of power plug ins. 5-Bad plug in in bath room (reported). 6-Poor placement of TV in room, difficult to watch,, from the 2nd bed. 7-Really bad TV control system, very cumbersome to operate. 8-Really old and stressed furniture. 9-Bath room sprinklers rust? mold? and ceiling also mold? and dirty. 10-No ground fault power outlet in bathroom. 11-No drawers to place clothes. 12--A staff store room door was left open, and it was a terrible mess, indicates poor maintenance. 13-Shampoo was empty for entire 6 day stay. 14.No reasonable place to put coffee brewer and no tea bags supplied 15.No place to plug in coffee brewer. (Nice that it was supplied)
