This is a dorm room, plain and simple. A marvelous price for a short summer stay in downtown Toronto if you're ok with simple, and with student neighbors. It was quiet during my visit. There is access to a large, all-gender bathroom down the hall with many sinks, toilet stalls, and shower stalls. Parking in a U of T garage is available 2 blocks away, costs about $30 overnight. One must sign up online, instructions are given at check in.

Room was bare concrete, it felt kind of a hospital room somehow but it was cozy and clean thou, just to spend the night or if you are a student a study place, very student oriented. Parking on the street is pay parking and you have to go about 3-4 blocks to park overnight until 6:00 am do parking was a bit complicated, Be aware, this is a different experience from a regular hotel.

Property as described, a University dorm! Basic, shower unit across the hall. Offers good value. Great if you are staying for one or two nights. Will remind those who went to University of days gone by.

Went for a medical appointment at TGH and it was within walking distance to the room. Staff were courteous and helpful. Since the rooms are not available until after 3pm, I was able to drop off my luggage in a secure area, free of charge. Great location.

My stay was okay, the check-in was simple and the staff were lovely. The room was decent, but the amenities and facilities were just okay-- just what you would expect from a student residence hall. Just one pillow on the bed and the towel provided was disappointing. Bed was nice a firm,though, and having AC in the room and hallways for the hot Toronto summer was great.

It is overall great, except the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. It could just be the bed in the room I stayed in though. Otherwise I was happy with the stay and the staff.

The washroom is too far from the room for a traveller. It is a student residence and I had a good rest overall.

The price was fair for the service we got. However, we booked for a weekend, then a group of youth arrived late that night. They were running and screaming all over the building around 1 AM. The shared bathroom was disgusting. No, I do not recommend this facility unless you have to. Just spend a bit more money and book somewhere else.

Affordable rooms, but the washroom situation is less than ideal. You get what you pay for though. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, this is a good option. Just keep your expectations low.

Our floor in Wilson Hall was noisy and not so clean due to a large group of school children living there. We asked the office to change our room. We moved to Wetmore Hall which was nice and quiet and clean. Loved the University atmosphere.

Superb Value!
Bring your own fitted sheet for the bottom of a 39 inch wide X 75 inch long mattress. The flat sheets underneath you don't stay where they're supposed to when you're sleeping. You can buy cheap polyester ones at Bed Bath and More at $20/set. Worth every penny. I love this place. It makes travel to Toronto possible for me to afford, and the breakfast is unbelievably lavish for what is essentially a summer hostel.

Called many times to see if I could check in early. Did not successfully speak to anyone. Upon arrival, they did not accommodate an early check in. Not even 30 mins before 3pm... Super inconvenient!

A great place to stay
A great place to stay - very reasonable room rate and more than adequate rooms and facilities. Being right on the Spadina streetcar line was an unexpected bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Great for a single traveller on a budget.
Great area, easy access walking to everything (walking downtown takes 25 minutes). Showers are like any gym (a little dated) where you lock the door behind you. Toilets are also completely ok. Not a lot of traffic, so perfect in a low season, it feels like private bathrooms in that sense. Beds are not so good if you move a lot, very squeaky as they are made of cheap wood frames, very basic mattress, most likely old, but I slept well anyway.
