Pros: The price was excellent.
Cons: Fix the toilet seat and get an easier way to flush the toilet. It didn't always work!
Location: Good bar and grill next door and Starbucks is at the end of the block.
We stayed for 2 nights and it certainly served its purpose. The room was small with only 1 chair to sit on. The TV was hard to get going. The bathroom lacked storage places so the edge of the tub was used. The toilet was hard to flush and the seat moved around a lot. It was quite clean and we were able to eat at restaurants close by. Not a good place to go if you have trouble climbing stairs to the room.

Tiny Charming GemPosted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: location, charming furniture, large shower stall.
Cons: The front door lock requires some persuasion. However, I had been warned by the hotel staff and was not defeated by it.
Location: A location downtown, just off Yonge, puts you near restaurants, films and the subway.
I was travelling alone, wanting only somewhere to lay my head after the opera. I was favourably impressed by the small but pleasant room with nice old semi-antique furniture, lots of excellent toiletries and the convenience of a small fridge. There was even a stemmed glass for someone looking to end their evening with a glass of wine. The one missing piece was a desk or worktable. I didn't bring work with me, so I wasn't inconvenienced, but another person might have been.

Great Downtown Toronto Location.Posted Feb 23, 2015

Right across the street from the Wellesley subway station at Yonge Street. Entrance to the boutique hotel has excellent lighting when coming in late at night and directly across the street from the subway. Felt very safe. Able to use subway till late night, so I never use a taxi the whole time I was there because the hotel location was absolutely awesome. Walking distances within minutes to all kinds of restaurants, coffee places, theatres, to heart of Toronto at Yonge & Dundas, Eaton's Centre, and Yonge & Bloor. Has free Wifi, no breakfast, but Tim Horton's and other breakfast places at the corner of Yonge & Wellesley or Wellesley & Church. Rooms are very clean with coffee and tea, mini fridge for snacks, own bathroom, telephone, and air conditioning. Very reasonable prices for location, would stay again.

Comfortable and convenient for walking and subwayPosted Feb 7, 2015
Pros: It was clean and quiet, with a charming decore.
Cons: I never found the front desk or common area. Tell me where it is, without me having to search.
Location: It was close to the ROM, Queens Park, Yorkville and downtown shopping.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. I was able to walk to several locations downtown, or I could take the subway, which was across the street.

Not bad, but a little weird.Posted Jan 23, 2015
Good location for a fair price. Hotel is clean if somewhat worn. Booked with Expedia and ended up with a single occupancy room rather than the double that was needed. Room only had a twin bed; had to pay extra out of pocket or lose the non-refundable reservation. Basement rooms reverberate with nearby subway. To floors not bad, but you can still hear it go by. All in all it wasn't bad, but I would not compare it to a large chain hotel. Nearby pub had great fajitas.

Very nicePosted Dec 2, 2014
For check in we were greeted at the front door by a quiet and polite man. He took us straight to the room, gave us information on how to work things (remotes, heat, fridge, etc.) and left. When you come and go, there's no front desk, it kind of feels like it's your place. The location was superb, RIGHT across a street from a main subway station. My fiance and I enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back.

Günstiges Hotel in DowntownPosted Nov 29, 2014

Close to SubwayPosted Nov 24, 2014
Location: Very close to Downtown (Eaton Center), about a 20 min walk, or 5 min subway ride.
The Hotel was very clean, a bit small the rooms were, but still very comfortable. I will be staying there again. Internet worked great, and that's most important to me.
