“Conference”
The hotel was a good conference location. Pretty expensive and the parking is completely unreasonable. The 2 people we encountered on the concierge desk were not very friendly.
“Very comfortable and good value”
I stayed at the hotel for a conference. The staff was professional and friendly. There was an excelent gym complete with universal free weights, and gym quality cardio equipment. The pool and spa were nice. The restaurants were a little limited, but there were enough places within walking distance to sufice. Parking was a little expensive. But, all in all, it was a good hotel and a good value. I would stay there again. No problems to speak of.
“Excellent Service”
Hotel and staff did an excellent job of providing a good experience. Hotel great for access to Air Canada Center.
“Pay to Pass Gas!!!”
My boyfriend and I traveled to Toronto for my birthday and he recommended we stay at the Westin because he has had positive experiences there in the past. So I booked on night stay there and the other 2 nights at the amazing top notch Hazelton hotel. Upon checking in the valet said hi and told us it's $40 bucks to park and we were a bit confused since we werent greeted properly and in the fact that we had reservations... Nonetheless, we paid tipped him and made our way to our pretty standard hotel room with a bathroom smaller than my guest bath. The view of Lake Ontario was amazing and we actually had a view of the private little airport and could possibly watch the airplanes land if the currents would openly properly. We called down to have this problem fixed in which case it never was. Thus, we left the hotel and upon returning assumed it would be fixed;after pulling and tugging we had a partial view the entire night (very disappointing). I need to work from the room and found that I would be charged for wi-fi. I was told there was free access downstairs and when I went to the business center I was charge per 15 minutes. The restaurant actually charged for refills on soda and there was no minibar in the room for drink offerings. Concierge gave us incomplete information and sent us on a blank trip to the CN Tower by taxi. Needless to say my boyfriend who is not cheap said he wanted to ask for the hotel manager and ask him the surcharge and hst to pass gas.
“Westin Toronto”
Good stay in spite of noisy people on the floor. Excellent staff.
“Great location”
Great location in Toronto by the harbour, near the CN Tower and the Hockey Hall of Fame. The staff and hotel facilities were excellent. The only disappointment was the noises coming from other bathrooms, the hallway, and room doors at night time. Also the parking rate at the hotel was a bit high; you're better using parking lots near the hotel.
“Modern lakefront hotel”
Modern & serene, great lake views and good restaurants. Not in the center of town... but perfectly positioned. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel. I have always been a fan of the Westin chain... and the Toronto location is no exception.
“Alex”
Overall the price related to the quality was good but it is not possible to pay an extra as they were requesting to use internet!!!....even 2 and 3 stars hotel now they offer for free
“Relaxing, comfortable & clean”
This was my first time staying at the Westin Harbor and I would definately return again. The room had a beautiful view of the harbor and the location is conveinient to the harbor activities as well as Rogers Stadium, Air Canada Center and the CNE.
“Very nice not great!”
The hotel is nice. It is not particularly convenient, except to the island ferries. The Bell staff was superb, maids great, conscierge decent. One disappointing feature was the U.S. exchange rate offered by the hotel was far lower than offered anywhere else. The actual rate wa 98.04. Exchange shops were offering .97 and banks were .97 with a $3 charge. The Westin offered .85, so don't plan on changing money here.
