Convenient for Madrid

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: The accommodation and breakfast were excellent
Cons: No suggestions
Location: Excellent tapas and meals in the nearby town
This is an excellent hotel which does not provide an evening meal. It is close to Madrid and El Escorial.

Fabulous hotel, terrific value for money

Posted Sep 16, 2012
Pros: Cleanliness, friendliness of staff, location
Cons: Hard plastic sunbeds, breakfast OK but repetitive
Very pleasant hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rather basic rooms, but nevertheless very comfortable. Minibar in the room, and the fridge was one of the coldest hotel fridges I have ever experienced. The standard of cleanliness was very high both in the room and throughout the hotel. Ideally situated just 15 minutes by bus from Madrid. The pool is attended by a lifeguard each day and is kept clean and tidy. Pool towels are available too. No complaints at all and would certainly recommend this and hope to return. All in all this was exceptionally good value and exceeded expectations for a three star hotel

Hotel Torrelodones review. Excelent hotel.

Posted Jun 7, 2012
Pros: Pleasant, peaceful and beautiful hotel.
Location: 20 minutes by car from center of Madrid, quiet location with restaurants, shops and bus stop within walking distance.
Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Was really clean and smelt really nice and fresh all the time. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The food was cheaper than local restaurants and was very nice. The service in the restaurant was also very friendly and efficient. The only downside was that the pool wasn't open until July but that didn't dampen our stay one bit. The hotel is in a lovely location with a bus stop nearby for people not using a car and had a shopping centre and supermarkets within walking distance. If in a car, the centre of Madrid is only 20 minutes away and easy to reach. The grounds of the hotel and hotels gardens were immaculate and very peaceful making our stay very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Madrid!
