Basic Accommodations

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Decent price but no great value considering the quality
Cons: New beds...maybe save some money by turning the A/C to a reasonable level.
Location: Convenient location as a stop over on our trip to Mt. Rushmore.
The room was freezing when we walked in (the A/C was set at 60 degrees!). I'd chalk this up to a mistake but the other room I booked for our kids was the same. The bed was one of the worst I've ever tried to sleep in. It sagged so far in the middle that it might have been easier to sleep on the floor, except for the warning about "black ground beetles" that may be present.

close to a good restaurant (Deacon's)

Posted Oct 20, 2014 on Hotels
Surprised to find that we had to climb stairs because my wife is not in good shape at all. No more handicap rooms available. The room was clean and nice enough, except that the bathroom was too crowded. The door to the bathroom was propped open with a trash can because it wouldn't stay open otherwise. The stool was very close to the bathtub and very difficult for an older semi-handicapped person to get up and off. Other than the stairs and the bathroom, it was a good place for the price charged.

Shame, shame, shame!

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Although the hotel is next to train tracks, we didn't hear the trains AT ALL
Cons: Vastly Improve: Customer service, honesty, integrity and stop false advertising!
In short, 1) They would NOT honor my Value Club card price because I booked online. 2) Their pool was not working and apparently hasn't for quite some time. 3) Continental breakfast consisted of toast and coffee. 4) Ran out of toilet paper in room and asked for more--twice. Never got brought to me, so I had to go to the store to buy my own.

Pros: hotel accueillant et localisé à coté d'un restaurant.
Cons: l'espace petit déjeuner est petit et le petit déjeuner est peu varié.
Hotel facilement accessible, sur la main street . Accueil souriant et sympathique.

A good place to stay if passing through

Small town but we were passing through. The desk staff was helpful with information about area. Next door was a grocery store which was convenient.

Niet bijster aantrekkelijk

Location: Torrington is op zondag niet aan te bevelen, saai.
Aardig personeel, ontbijt was niet bijzonder. Kamer zag er wel netjes uit
