Privacy and elegance in the center of townPosted Jul 29, 2013
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: Don't miss Kent Falls for a dip on a hot day.
Not only is the Starbuck Inn tastefully appointed in calming creams and Frette robes and linens, it's red front door invites visitors into a private world that seems your very own, largely due to the home's considerate proprietor Peter Starbuck and his welcoming labrador Ruby. Breakfast is beautifully prepared and served in an intimate dining room where friends are made and delicious local and seasonal food is served in perfect dimension. Don't miss the 4pm tea, sherry and nibbles waiting for you in the living room. My 2 night stay has made it difficult to imagine staying anywhere else.

The Starbuck Inn has a simple elegance about it that makes ones at home and yet feels like a stay at something other than home. The owner, Peter is a kind listening person willing to accommodate.

Great place for a romantic couples weekendPosted Oct 26, 2012
Great little B&B in a beautiful locatoin. Loved the fall colors of Connecticut which my wife always wanted to see. Owner and staff both were super friendly and helpful.

chill-out in Kent , CTPosted Sep 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
VERY RELAXING AFTER 3 WEEKS IN MANHATTAN. Enjoyed green tea and very nice assortment of nibbles (and sherry) in the 2.5 acres back garden where we watched the grey and red squirells as well as some lovely biirds at the feeders. Nice village to stroll around, fly fishing on the Houssatonic river very nearby. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh fruit followed by a cooked breakfast (by Peter) and home-made conserve. Peter the owner was very friendly and helpful. All facilities very clean.

A Delight!Posted Apr 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
A standout of a place to stay and we're stayed at other B&Bs in Kent. Lovely, spacious rooms, a wonderful cozy atmosphere. Living room cozy and always water and a nip of sherry if you wish. Afternoon tea also a treat. Peter is a friendly, fun, accommodating host and made us feel like part of the family. Incredibly convenient (walking distance) from the shops and restaurants. No doubt we'll be back. A perfect example of a beautiful run B&B. We'll be back, Peter! (and Ruby)

Excellent Inn! Peter Starbuck runs a wonderful place. He is cordial and interesting. The rooms are clean and bright. A short walk into town from the Inn.
