Fun, funky old hotelPosted Dec 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay at this funky, historic hotel. The rooms are a bit dated and not in the true to time period way, but it is comfortable and pleasant. I would stay there again if I happened to be in the area.

Old timey feelingPosted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
You'll feel like you've gone back 50 years while staying here. They haven't updated it much and its a matter of personal taste whether you'll enjoy that or not. The bar smelled like the elderly, that's my only complaint.

Pros: That is it a very cool old building
Cons: The hallways have a terrible dropped ceiling that gives the impression that the owners are not taking care of the building it conceals piping. not nec

Perfectly located old innPosted Oct 25, 2013
Cons: The elevator
To those looking for the square, dull uniformity of chain hotels this isn't it. But if you like some character with your comfort it's a fine old place. Yes, it could stand some refurbishing, but nothing that diminishes your comfort.

Needs updates desperatelyPosted Oct 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel lobby and room weren’t bad, just dated. The bathroom, however, was nasty. There was mold on the surround and tiles chipped off. The front staff was nice and the free breakfast was appreciated, but because our room was in the back over a restaurant, it was difficult to sleep with all of the noise. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Hotel was so run down.the mattresses were horrible and you could feel the spring. Couldn't sleep at all because whole night you could hear people walking in the corridor and wood creek. Bathroom was clean but century old fittings.in all not a great experience.
