Good and bad bits. But overall not bad

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Beautiful scenary, lovely clean and spacious rooms, lovely breakfast which was served out on the terrace, staff were friendly
Cons: The website- alot of misinformation, being able to choose your own breakfast- I'm not a fan of heavy chocolate foods in the morning, wi-fi connection!
Location: Better go to Maiori or Amafi where there is more to do. There is a nice resturant 2min walk away, the hotel resturant was terrible. I couldn't eat it!
The reason that we booked this hotel, is that we wanted to stay somewhere that was out in the mountains, but we could still get to the beach and to some shops easily enough. When I looked on their website they say they do airport transfers and station pick-up. This turned out to be untrue. They do not do hotel transfers at all. In fact, my boyfriend and I had to try and get to the hotel (keep in mind it's up in the mountains) via public transport, there were no taxis that went to Tramonti from Pagani (the metro station that we went to) and we lost 7 hours of our holiday to travelling around in the heat trying to get to the hotel. We found a shop who phoned the hotel and they didn't help us at all in which bus to get. In the end we found a local that spoke enough English to offer to drop us to the hotel for 35 euros. As you can imagine this was a terrible start to the holiday. When we got to the hotel the room was beautiful, clean and welcoming. Although the description says mutli- lingual staff, I beg to differ- the phrase book I brought was an absolute life-saver. The staff were friendly, but just a bit of a language barrier. Getting to the beach was easy enough. We could get a scheduled bus to Maiori or Amalfi which took between 30-40 mins to get to. For a short- break this hotel was just fine. But because of the drama getting to the hotel I wouldn't stay there again.

Great value around the Amalfi coast

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Price, cleanliness, location.
Cons: The stairways need to be widened to make access easier.
Location: The Amalfi coast! One of the most beautiful coasts in the world! Hotel is in a little town but, there's a good restaurant right beside the hotel.
Very nice, family-operated, little hotel. The rooms and bath are very clean. The views are phenomenal (You can see the Vesuvius and Napoli from high above). Breakfast is good. I believe this little hotel is a great value when you consider the price vs. the quality of the accommodations.
