Excellent location in the historic center of Alcamo, steps from the main piazza, shopping, and dining options. Staff were friendly & helpful, rooms were very spacious and clean - highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, good facilities, amazing shower and comfortable beds. Only downside was that I was not aware before booking that we really needed to have a car to get around as it isn’t as close to the beach etc as expected.

Enjoyable stay
Only stayed for one night but this did the job. Nice roof top terrace. Reasonable breakfast. Comfortable bed. Polite and helpful staff. Fantastic hot chocolate. Car parking (limited) outside hotel. Extremely good value.

Nice hotel well located into the city and 2 minutes walk to a nice piazza with café and few restaurants. The hotel parking is on the street, while sometime all places were taken, we did find parking spots pretty easily. Hotel personal is very friendly and accommodating and speaking good English. Our room was clean, spacious and with a balcony on the street. We would recommend staying into this hotel. Tips: To have a drink and meet local people we recommend Caffè Impero on Piazza Ciullo which less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Very good hotel
This was the best hotel on our tour of the north of Sicily. The room was very large and breakfast was good. It has a rooftop jacuzzi which is a good place to relax and chill. We ate in the rooftop restaurant which offered good views across Alcamo (a very romantic setting). The staff are friendly and attentive. However, it is probably best suited for businessmen/women on trips. I say this because the town is a little quiet. We stayed here to use it as a base to visit Segesta and Erice - both within an hour's drive. I would recommend Erice in particular as it's a beautiful medieval town high above the clouds. Parking is difficult and you may have to park in one of the surrounding streets if arriving by car.

Hotel in center of Alcamo
We were placed in this hotel by hotels.com after the one we had booked cancelled at the last minute. It is an elegant building in the center of the small town of Alcamo. There was a pleasant rooftop restaurant/bar with great views but a party had booked the whole roof and the noise and music reverberated through the whole hotel after we went to bed, and we were two floors down. Friendly personnel. Parking could be a problem if the hotel's three or four street spaces are occupied.

Hotel Centrale is perfectly located in the beautiful little city of Alcamo. Not often I could say EVERYTHING WAS GREAT and very affordable. Looking forward to staying there again.

Great Hotel in Hillside Sicilian Town Near Sea
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Centrale in Alcamo, Sicily. The staff was fantastic, providing a great deal of support and service for our stay in Alcamo. The front desk staff was always willing to offer advise, answer questions, provide some translations for us, and inform us of local culture. The room was quite nice and the location was perfect for easy walks to points of interest in the old city of Alcamo. The complementary breakfast is awesome. Alcamo is just a few kilometers from the coast and great beaches, and is also a short distance from the Greek ruins of Segeste, all just a short drive from Palermo. We highly recommend Alcamo and the Hotel Centrale.

Near main plaza
This was a good pick for me. I was traveling solo, using buses. I was able to get to the hotel within an 8-10 minute walk. Nice cafes on the plaza in front of large church. Hotel was great...desk people VERY helpful to me, especially Esmeralda. BReakfast excellent. HAd dinner in the restaurant once...was very pleased.

Nice hotel, but could be better.
We initially were put in a room that was not the junior suite we paid for, but the suite we eventually got was nice and roomy. The reception clerks were friendly. The restaurant was good and the waiters were very nice. The breakfast was sparse and the hostess was unfriendly. The hotel is situated in a good location near the central piazza of Alcamo, and Alcamo is centrally located for easy access to sites in western Sicily.

Nice hotel in the middle of the city, good for going to Segesta. Close to the central piazza. A bit difficult to find as we did not come from Palermo and entered the city at its "exit".

Terrific Experience
Hotel Centrale is a fabulous hotel on a quiet, quaint street in Alcamo. Wish we could have spent more time there. The staff set us up with car service from Palermo's airport, was very helpful when we checked in at 1:45am, and the morning cappuccino and pastries were fabulous. The hotel is super clean and cute. Was sad to leave after such short stay, hope to be back in the future...

The hotel was ideal for access to Palermo airport. Having driven from Palermo to the airport previously the hotel in Alcamo was much better located and only took 30 mins instead of the 2 hours from Palermo. The staff were not the most friendly but it was only an overnight pre airport stay.

Ideal for seeing the sites.
When first arriving at the hotel I was a little alarmed as it is in the old part of Alcamo in a very narrow and somewhat dingy street. I had arrived by car and was pleased to see some reserved parking for guests, although the spaces are tight and limited. When entering the hotel I found the reception experience to be pleasant and efficient and my room to be more than adequate and clean although the air conditioning was very under-powered. The restaurant is very pleasant, a bit on the expensive side but serving good well cooked and presented food in the Sicilian style. The service was very pleasant and helpful although they spoke little English and I very little Italian. The only minus point was the television which the locals wanted to watch all the time. I found the position of the hotel ideal for my purposes, I wanted to visit the ancient sites in the north and west of Sicily, especially as I had a car. I don't think it would suit anyone wanting a sun,sea and sand holiday. I would add this note of warning for anyone driving in Alcamo the streets are in the main extremely narrow and there is an intricate one way system in operation and the Hotel Centrale is very central, luckily I had a very good sat nav. Overall my stay at the hotel was most enjoyable and I would certainly recommend it to others.

This is an excellent hotel with very good breakfast and restaurant. Parking was in front of the hotel and very convenient. The hotel is convenient to the A29 expressway. My only regret was there were no good restaurants nearby, only casual bars. The neighborhood was safe, but the traffic was rather noisy. Hotel personnel were very helpful.

I stayed at hotel centrale for three nights before taking part of my trip to Rome. The staff was by far the most friendly and accomodating staff at any hotel I've ever visted around the world. The food is amazing and fresh, the inside of the hotel is of a grand palace. The town is very clean, beautiful, friendly, and close to the coast. Anything I needed I just asked someone working at the hotel and they made it happen with a smile on their face, also their english is spoken well. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area of Sicilia. caio caio

Relación calidad-precio muy buena
El hotel está muy bien situado, en pleno centro, no tuvimos problema para aparcar porque tiene reservado un espacio amplio de aparcamiento en la calle. Habitación amplia, cómoda, tranquila y limpia. El desayuno suficiente y el personal muy amable y servicial.
