Excellent location - private beach across the roadPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: The staff, hotel location and facilities. The location is 5 minutes walk fro the town centre, perfect for a short stroll to the restaurants etc.
Cons: We felt the shower area needed an upgrade and softer mattress needed. Extra toiletries needed and breakfast cereals could be more varied.
Location: Location is perfect to walk to town and to find on way in from Palermo airport being on the right side. Lovely restaurants just along the sea wall.
We arrived after an horrendous ordeal at the hands of car rental company and so were delighted to receive a warm friendly and sympathetic reception from Viola the Receptionist. She was (always) pleasant and smiling - just what we needed. After showing us to the room we decided to upgrade and this was made easy and under no pressure from her to chose the most expensive option. We DID chose to stay in the balcony apartments for an extra 30 euro per night, not exorbitant in any way for what it offered. Throughout our stay we were well attended to and had an excellent view from our balcony suite. Room cleanliness and attention to daily cleaning was excellent. The pool area was really lovely and well maintained. Access to the secluded beach was by key only and via 120 steps so be prepared for a little walk! Though it is worth it as the beach itself is secluded and picturesque. The breakfast room is spacious and bright though we would have liked if the lovely adjoining outdoor courtyard area had been made available as it looked so inviting. This hotel is a very good 3* facility which with a little touch here and there might make 4* status but we would definitely stay here again.

Best Hotel in Castellammare del GolfoPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Everything! Great staff that spoke excellent English. Beautiful rooms, spacious and clean. Super pool and access to the beach. Great breakfast!
Cons: There is not really anything that the hotel can do. Quiet with the windows closed. On a semi-busy street, so zooming vespas and motorcycles.
Location: Walking distance to the town with wonderful restaurants, great views. Ease access to the main highway.
Wonderful! Great staff that spoke excellent English. They helped us with our phone issues and car issues. Were always ready to provide wonderful customer service. Beautiful rooms, spacious and clean. Super pool and access to the beach. Great breakfast!

Great hotel locationPosted Jun 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
It is a very quaint hotel that was once a private residence The hotel is located about 15 minute walk to the ruins in one direction & 15 minutes to old town in the other direction. There are only 2 free parking spots which we lucked out getting. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast which met all of our needs..

Good for the price.Posted Jun 3, 2013
Decent size room for the price but noisy - sound from other guests & hotel staff banging around in closets & storage rooms, etc., was far too easy to hear. The free included breakfast was better than average and the view from most rooms is nice. Short walking distance to the main piazza & several restaurants.

Very good servicePosted May 23, 2013
Pros: Good location, with an outdoor pool and its own small beach.
Location: Walking distance (10-15 minutes) to town centre and easy to get out for driving.
Kind staff, speak good English. Flexible. As we needed to leave earlier to catch the flight, we were allowed to have breakfast earlier before their open hour.

We were on the 3rd floor facing the sea with a balcony view all along the bay excellent particularly as my wife is a smoker. An adequate continental breakfast and large swimming pool. The staff in reception were very helpful and spoke good english. It was an easy walk to the harbour area for dinner at various restaurants. Not much to see in the town and the tourist season finishes on 15th September. A car is essential.
Nice hotelPosted Sep 30, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel, actually 4 stars. Very good air conditioning system, we had over 30 degrees outside but still nice inside. No restaurant. Nice beach 120 steps below, no sun chairs or service there, not much sand. But very beautiful, good for snorkelling. Short walk into the centre, and to the beach perhaps 700 meters. Nice beach but low standard on service.

Beautiful location, clean roomsPosted Jul 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
We only stayed one night and arrived late at night. It was difficult to find at night even with a GPS. The hotel was great when we got there. The staff tried to be very helpful even if they didn't speak much english. The pool facility was very enjoyable and the breakfast had good variety. We would stay again and for more than one night as the beach was right across the road and the view was phenomenal!
