“Best Hotel We Found in Sicily - American Travelers”

We travel in Sicily extensively and The New Hotel Palace is by far the best hotel that we found in Sicily to date. It is newly renovated to a true 5-star level that Americans are accustomed to expect. The service at the hotel was fantastic. We arrived very early (around 8:30 a.m.) and there was a charter boat leaving for the Egadi Islands at 9:00. The young lady at the reception desk called the charter company and arranged for them to pick us up and take us to the boat. We had a very pleasant day visiting Favignana and Lavana thanks to this lady. When we arrived after the excusion, the hotel arranged for us to be picked up and returned there. The lobby is beautifully appointed with a lovely dining area for the included continental breakfast. The room that we had was overlooking a lovely marina. We were greeted to the lovely room with a huge basket of fruit and a glass each of Marsala wine with a basket of freshly made biscotti. The air conditioning worked! In Sicily, most of the hotels turn the air off in the middle of the night, but this hotel maintained a very comfortable level for the guestrooms. Marsala has a very nice piazza area and is close to the port for excursions to the Egadi islands and Trapani. They have very nice conference facilities there too. It's about a 1.5 hour drive to Palermo. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are very good restaurants a very short walk (5 minutes). I would stay at this hotel again without question.

“Lovely Hotel”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at New Hotel Palace. The lobby, meeting room, and breakfast areas were simply lovely. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and well supplied. The staff was very helpful in many ways, including recommending a nice restaurant for us. We would stay here again!!
