Purpose-built Pousada from the '50s, great views!Posted Apr 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
A comfortable, inviting Pousada although not in a classic setting like a manor house or castle. It is built on a small hill overlooking the city of Braganca, with castle and river in full view, very nice. A pleasant 20 min walk (although a bit steep) takes one to the old town and castle, well worth the visit. Lovely dining in the Pousada also.

Expensive for what we gotPosted May 13, 2012
Pros: View of the castle from our room, the breakfast was fair
Cons: Room smelt of fire smoke and was small and too expensive for what we got
Location: 15mins walk to town and 25 to the castle but uphill and down
The Staff were helpfull. Was really expensive for what you got and the bar had an open fire so all the rooms smelt like a camp fire and were quite old.

Braganca's finest hotelPosted Sep 30, 2009
Very comfortable hotel with a view over Braganca and the castle. Stayed 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis and was most enjoyable. The staff at the reception all spoke good English and were most helpful.

A memorable stopoverPosted Jul 3, 2009 on Hotels.com
Easy to find, well signed from IP4. Had to change my dates via Lisbon main office,no hassle at all. Good reception, good room with an excellant view, bar and mini bar prices a little expensive.
