From check in to check out, everything was phenomenal! We spent the day hiking Sleeping Bear and then relaxed, enjoyed the hot tub, and tuckered out in some very comfy beds. Breakfast in the morning hit the spot. Will stay again if in the area.

I highly recommend this hotel. Nice and quiet, driving distance to Lake Michigan, quaint cities, M22, Traverse City, small restaurants and hometown bars.

First off, they charged us double because their system lad a glitch. The desk person was very nice, but their reservation system was buggy. We waited for half an hour but they couldn’t resolve the issue even with help from Expedia support person who called the office immediately. The decoration in the room itself was kind of OK, but it was very dated. The carpets were so dirty I hesitated to walk on it without shoes. The beds we very uncomfortable, and went too far down even with a 160 lbs person.

Clean, Quiet and Comfortable
Have stayed at this location many times over the years (3 times this year, so far). The property continues to be maintained at an extremely high level. Cleanliness is off-the-charts! Very quiet. They even provide a small step stool to get in and out of the beds safely (as the beds are quite high). Located within a couple miles of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, it provides easy access to recreational facilities. Just the best place to stay in the area!

The breakfast was sufficient. No cleaning took place and it was up to me to ask for clean towels for a four day stay. Made our own bed, emptied our own wastebaskets and there was an envelope on the bed for a tip. What for?

Everything was great except for the fact that the Keurig coffee machine was kept in the bathroom, a few feet from the toilet. There is no way I would allow that if I owned this business. That`s just nasty. I would guess they`re saving a lot of money on coffee though.

Coffee machine difficult to operate. Google GPS has you on wrong side of road. Making arrival a little confusing. Overall very good though.

We thought this hotel was great. We had our pets and the room they gave us was on the first floor by an entrance. Very convenient. The room was big and the cafe had 24/7 coffee. It had all the small things that make a stay easy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Last minute booking to get out of the rainvwhile camping at Sleeping Bear park. Staff was very friendly (appeared to be family run). Our room was very clean & comfy. The included breakfast was really good & hot (eggs, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, coffee, etc). There was a pool, fitness area, and laundry. Very close to Sleeping Bear & other area attractions.
