Perfect for weekend getaway at the wineries

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Location: Not far from wineries, and downtown.
My daughters and I enjoyed the accomodations during a brief weekend away. Great pool for adults, and beautiful courtyard for breakfast dining. Overall, everything was perfect, and staff were very helpful.

It's all good.

Nicely located and easily accessed even in heavy traffic. Staff throughout the complex was friendly. As we arrived at the backdoor with copious luggage a uniformed staffer rushed out with a cart. The changing hot breakfast more than met our needs and the staff kept stations full and clean while unobtrusively removing used tableware. Above and beyond on all counts.

Close to everything

Pros: The outdoor patio where we could eat delicious breakfast. Very clean.
Cons: Longer breakfast. I thought it was until 1030 and almost missed it. The room door opened to a wall and had to be swung wide to avoid walking into wall
Location: Party store close by. Residential area which was pleasant for walking.
Nice hotel. Would stay here again. Patio was very nice and easily accessible from the breakfast area. Very clean. Friendly staff.

Hot and Cold Water, nice and clean and up to date.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The staff was very nice and informative and even called our room to make sure everything was good for us. I like the big comfortable bed & pillows.
Cons: Look into why the water goes hot and cold in the shower and see if there is a way to keep the fan running on the A/C and cool at when needed.
Location: We were close to downtown within walking distance about a mile. Lots of shops and brew pubs near by and we visited the Lighthouses and Sleeping Bear.
The hotel was clean and very nicely decorated to make it comfortable. The A/C would come on and go off. That part was hard to sleep with that going on. Could have shut it off but then it would get warm. The shower water for some reason would go hot and cold in a matter of minutes. We were in room 110. I think the hotel should have it checked out. It could be a simple fix. Stayed two nights and would stay there again.

Everything great.

Location: We enjoyed the Cherry festival, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and a 2-hour sail on a private yacht, "Scout". The water is clear and beautiful, but cold.
Good breakfast. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool and very clean spa. WIFI was a little inconsistent, but no big deal for us. They let us check in early. Good coffee and cookies.

Very nice, newly remodeled hotel

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Location: Lots to do in the area.
We had a wonderful experience at this country inn and suites. Newly remodeled. We had a very large suite with 2 rooms. Lots of room and set up very well. Included a murphy bed that came down out of the wall. The kids loved that! Very helpful and caring staff. Great breakfast. Hotel was very clean and very well cared for. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through.

Basic and clean hotel w/ LOTS of room for families

Posted Jul 4, 2014
If you're looking for a sexy getaway, stay elsewhere. If you have a family, stay here! Our suite was huge, spotless, and allowed us to spread out and feel comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate and was a nice bonus. Plenty close to town and easy to get to the beach at the state park. We would definitely stay here again!

Avoid Room 401

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Other than this specific room, I have always enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly.
Avoid Room 401...During this visit I stayed in Room 401. Previous rooms have been excellent but room 401's door opens directly to the outside (facing road). The room is above the fitness center (no problem with that) but is directly across from the hotel's entrance (room's window). As a result, the room is not quiet until very late. The arrival of new guests and/or busses in addition to the noise from the traffic makes it difficult to sleep. The room itself is very nice and clean. Only the location makes it a poor choice.

Very nice with reasonable price

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Bonus is the pool is open until midnight with no kids after 10:30pm!
This hotel is newly remodeled. Very clean and a great value for the money. Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was good and offered a lot of variety.

Good value

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms
Cons: I always love an outdoor pool.
Location: Downtown was very close as was the beach. Close to the wineries in the area.
The hotel was fine for what I was looking for. I needed a place that was reasonably priced for work and it served it's purpose. The front desk manager was very nice and called to check to see if our room was satisfactory as we were walking in with our luggage. The bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable.
